Why not just say; "Sir, I will give you the floor, after you let me finish my point" , or tell the cops, "Don't arrest him, let him finish" (if he continued to be out of line, then they could have escorted him out).
If you want this man to be VP and next in line for POTUS, you probably need serious help.

71-year-old taken to the ground for questioning Paul Ryan - YouTube
All this shows is that Paul Ryan is real and has a sense of humor. That's a good thing!

I guess the board's right-wingers aren't alone in posting hyperbole in their thread titles...

So what's the deal? I watched the video and this is a big deal why? Because Ryan cracked a joke to try and lighten the mood? Has anyone seen Joe's video in front of African Americans saying" They will put you in chains" as well as having a southern accent ( which was a nice touch).

I noticed that about Biden, too. I find it a little off-putting. I distinctly remember Obama changing character as well, when he spoke in Maumee, Ohio, in front of a blue-collar crowd. Maybe it's normal to tailor ones speech to a crowd? But it comes off as fake.

Standing up to interrupt someone with aggressive shouting is punking someone?

You have a fairly low bar for punking.

71 year old men can be dangerous. I am personally happy to see these morons slammed to the ground. Happens to Obama all the time and the secret service people just remove them....roughly. If they thought for one minute that the heckler was dangerous at an O event, you can bet they would be handled the same way. I am sure security is tight around Ryan because the left is coming unglued and potentially very, very dangerous. So come on people of peace, get a grip and chill out.

Thanks for the advice Dr Crackhead.
