The reason they are talking about it, it was Clint Eastwood for one, and it was funny plus it was honest about Obama.
The reason it's not in the RNC video is because it was a disaster. If you thought it was funny, that's great, but the purpose of the last night of the convention isn't to entertain the people there--every second should highlight your nominee, and help the public to know more about him and like him more. Hating Obama isn't enough--you have to be able to make the case that your guy can do better. Clint Eastwood talking to an empty chair didn't do jack to build the case that Romney would be a good president. That's the problem, and that's why it's not in the video.
Probably because Clint Eastwood is not in politics. It would throw off the RNC message from all the people who hold office. Clint Eastwood was a skit and was not holding office in the Republican party.
Not quite.
Connie Rice is no longer in politics, so why put her in the video and not Clint?
You just have to shake your head--is this how they'd run the country? They couldn't even accomplish the one simple goal they had to pull off that night--highlight Mitt. It was complete incompetence, and now they're falling all over trying to back stab each other and shift the blame...
