A video mash-up of speakers from last week's Republican National Convention does not include an appearance from the "mystery RNC speaker" Clint Eastwood.
The two-and-a-half minute video posted today to the Romney campaign's YouTube account features former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, VP nominee Paul Ryan and of course, Romney himself, but it leaves out Eastwood's controversial speech.
But Romney said he liked it! Very poor manners inviting a special guest to speak with him being 81 and going through the trouble to fly to Tampa then pretty much throwing him under the bus when he speaks his mind

LOL. Too funny. So much for that huge success the R's here have been insisting Clint's little performance was. Looks like the GOP is going to pretend it never happened. Smart move. Too bad for Romney that Eastwood upstaged him so badly you would hardly know Mitt was even there that night.

And we're STILL talking about Eastwood vs. anything that Romney said at the convention...

NO, Eastwood did a 'bit'...not a ''speech''...an acting job by a talented actor. It was effective to convey the point very well.

It was effective to completely take the spotlight away from the party nominee on the biggest night of his life. How many threads are there here talking about Romney's acceptance speech? Exactly none. If this is the GOP's idea of a success it explains a whole lot about the party.

Probably because Clint Eastwood is not in politics. It would throw off the RNC message from all the people who hold office. Clint Eastwood was a skit and was not holding office in the Republican party.

The reason they are talking about it, it was Clint Eastwood for one, and it was funny plus it was honest about Obama.

Yeah, and he conveyed that "point" so well, they don't even wanna show it (...LOL)!!

OK, now insert obligatory excuses re: "*******s", "desperation", "Obummer" and "exploding heads" here...

So they decided to run a "skit" as the lead in to what should have been the biggest speech of Romney's life?
