HELLO?????

This is a button being given out at the DNC...not a Republican to be found. But you SOMEHOW find a way to blame the Republicans?

Right and Lincoln supported freeing the slaves. The Democrats did not and did not want to go to war.
They thought that as the west was opened that slavery would disappear on it's own. The Democrats were all for BAU. And the Democrats were the KKK.

However, not at the Republican Convention like THIS "Vote Black" button at the DNC.

It's disgusting to say the least.

Leave it to the dems to pull the race card - 99.9% of the time out of 100.

I know republicans keep trying to tell blacks that its the GOP party that freed slaves and that democrats were the party of the KKK, but that was the 1800's, its 2012. Its republicans with voter id laws, its republicans telling blacks that we're brainwashed, lazy and stupid. Its republicans who want public schools to change the history books about slavery. Thanks you for freeing us, the statue of limitations on that has run out.

Republicans don't want THANKS for doing the right thing.

They just don't want to be called the racists when history and reality prove otherwise.

Only Democrats play the race card ad nauseum to the point it means nothing anymore. That is the truly tragic thing about it.

You DO realize that the last member of Congress to be a card holding KKK member was Robert Byrd of West Virginia? That was quite recent as a matter of fact.

Plus, I don't think the statute of limitations EVER runs out on something as important as FREEDOM.

Until they grew a pair and realized they were wrong. This p.ssed off a lot of white Southerners, whose votes the Republicans then deliberately courted. "Southern Strategy", remember? Hey, they even invented the concept of dog whistling in the political messages.

Unless you are posting this from the 1950s - in which case, go buy some IBM stock.

Dr King would be turning over in his grave today by the disgusting way Democrats attempt to drive a wedge between the races.

Republicans are color-blind in their beliefs.....Democrats see everything in terms of color and ethnicity.
