I'm a Romney supporter but I have to laugh at that map, PA and MN are tossups on what basis?
I will say this though it would not surprise me in the least if Oregon, New Mexico and even Connecticut shift to tossup status in the closing weeks. The limited polling that has been done in these states show that Obama's lead is about half his 2008 victory and just outside the ME.
For this to happen we need a cataclysmic event that shifts the favor to Romney. If we have two months of negative job growth, Europe collapses, Romney releases more tax returns only to show that he's donated 99% of his income to 9/11 victims and Obama eats a puppy on live TV- then maybe this map will be plausible

I agree, the election of 1980 was nothing like 2012. Reagan was likable Romney is not. Obama is more popular than Carter was in 1980. There was also a lot going on in 1980. In addition to high gas prices and a struggling economy, Carter was dealing with the Iran hostage crisis. Carter was doing poorly internationally, Obama is not. Many blame the hostage crisis for Carter's defeat.
Yes. Remember the hostages were released the day after Reagan won. Very interesting.
The Examiner? Really?? I do not understand why they did not simply make the entire country red, if your gonna lie, lie big.
