I still say the best of the debate was when Paul asked Joe about the unemployment rate in Joe's home town, Scranton. Joe was going on about how the unemployment rate dropping. Yet now in Scranton, it's 10%. When 0bama and Joe took office, it was 10%.
I loved that.
Actually he said it was 8.5 when they took office, and 10% now.. it actually climbed. When Joe said that represented the nation I almost fell out of my chair thinking he stepped in it, but it went on without notice.
The most ironic response of the evening was when talking about negative campaigning. Biden admitted both sides had engaged in it, Ryan's response was a tirade against Obama.

Oh, that's even better. I guess I forgot the numbers, but I haven't forgotten how I giggled at Joe's expression. He didn't laugh.
CNN is using registered voters for its polls so its pretty much meaningless as 99% of those ppl have an opinion set in stone.
THe Focus group CNN was interesting, as they split as a tie. Looking at some other polls of uncommited voters shows more of a biden lean, like the CBS poll.
While not as bad as Obama's thrashing, just looking at a few GOP pundits comments around the web and a reactoin from multiple sources, Biden is the slight winner, especially with him being the "under dog" by expectations (which Ididn't understand why but meh).
