You can thank congress for the laws we have.

If you don't want anything to do with money that's your choice. If you would be happier hunting and foraging, go ahead.

Wealthy people donate millions of dollars to charities in this country.

If you have a solution, spell it out. I have a hunch that it's going to have something to do with taxing and redistribution though.
Those "safety nets" as they exist today should not even exist because it is redistribution of wealth from my pocket to the crony capitalists, like the Telecom Industry for Obama phones and JP Morgan for Foodstamps, or Subsidies for the Farmers to not GROW to keep prices elevated, or to Corporations that should be out of business, to Wall Street involved in student loans that elevate the price of tuition, to the Military Industrial Complex out for our "general welfare"......

I could go on and on because it really is endless, when it comes to "welfare" for all involved.

Also, those in congress passing these bills, most of them all hail from Corporations and Banks writing rules and legislation to benefit their cronies. They are no saints!

Those "wealthy" people donating to charities do not do it out of the goodness of their heart, but rather use it as a tax write off, so that they can choose where they think that money should go.

I am also not for "redistribution of wealth" but for economic policies that benefit everyone, and for equal opportunity for everyone, rather than for those that choose to BUY their way into owning my government.

We need to be liberated from these Anti-American, Anti Capitalist and Financial Terrorists that have infested our government, starting with Goldman Sachs and working on down the line.

How can you justify Obama stealing from taxpayers and throwing their money away on green job failures? How can you justify Obama perpetuating welfare as a lifestyle? Many of those people aren't breaking a sweat and they are being handed everything. That keeps people dependent instead of free. That is evil. How can Obama justify all the money he has in the bank? How much money does he need?
What policies has Obama put in place that discourages growth and job creation? Be specific. These blanket lies spread by the far right have no basis in fact.

Bush borrowed millions and millions from China to pay for 2 wars and a huge tax cut for the richest people in the country. Obama borrows money to try to rescue the country from the hole Republican policies put us in and you blame him for the money borrowed by Bush.

When Romney's company buys companies...deliberately loads them with debt, puts them into bankruptcy, drains them of all resources, and outsources the jobs to China....you call in successful business. When Obama supports the development of jobs that could end our dependence on fossil fuel and SOME (not all) of those companies don't succeed you call it throwing away money.

You buy Romney's lie about "welfare lifestyle" when the people about whom he says such insulting things are retired people on Social Security who have worked all their lives, Veterans who lost health and limbs protecting this country, soldiers who are deployed in harms way, and working folks that are sweating their lives away working at hard jobs for such low wages that they don't pay federal income taxes (though they all pay sales tax, payroll taxes, property taxes, etc.)

Neo cons think if they just tell a lie loud enough and long enough they can make the serfs believe it is true. Well, they'd do well to remember what happens when serfs revolt. The "ruling class" doesn't fare so well.

Democrats have turned success into something to be scoffed at. Very sad.

Success should be something to aspire to. Democrats are just completely distorting reality and increasingly negative and harmful to America.
Yes. Success is great! But being greedy with that success is the problem.

Oh, you're a revolutionary.

What are you going to do? Go to Washington and take it over?

Who will be your dictator? That NEVER leads to freedom you know.

The Definition of Hypocrisy

To complain about Mitt Romney’s wealth during this election cycle, but to not have complained about multi-millionaire John Kerry’s wealth eight years ago, is the definition of hypocrisy.

One last thing.

Nothing would make me happier If more people became independent of the system and grew their own produce and de-attached themselves from the system as much as possible.

As it is now, the productivity and efforts of all hardworking American's are being funneled into Wall Street where the fat-cats continue to rake in the bonuses while most working American's 401k's are going sideways.

I keep seeing this insistence from some that some of the "lazy" American's need to get a job and be more productive for "society". That reeks of Communism, like help mother Russia, so that their efforts continue to get funneled to the top!

I would rather they go independent and stick the finger to the status quo.

Fail.

Not complaining about Romney's wealth. Greed is the key word here.

It's inconceivable that Romney has the audacity toi run for the Presidency.
It is inconceivable that someone would judge the suitability of a candidate based on a decision by a company that he had no part in making.

Heaven forbid a venture capital firm, where the goal is to maximize profits, makes business decisions that are intended to do just that.
