2012 General Election | NC Vote Tracker

Looking good for Obama there...I do enjoy seeing the Libertarian vote up higher at this point than it was in 2008...I believe in was in the 300's at this point in 2008....

To his and her credit I think Gary Johnson and Barbara Howe are running very effective respective campaigns in North Carolina. Granted as libertarians this is in perspective, but from what I gather they seem to be doing much better then the Libertarians did in 2008 in terms of getting the message out.

Compared to last year I do not think that is such good news for the democrats, so far there is 4.3% less votes for democrats, and 2.5% more for the republicans, for a state that went to Obama by 0.32% I would be worried if I was a liberal.

Actually that is not true. There are much, much more votes for everyone. Republicans are just getting better at turning out early. With that said every day the GOP difference between now and 2008 goes down.

Also with the way early voting has been surging I seriously doubt that the GOP will be able as much of a bump out of election day as they got last time.

This is why I detest early voting.

Doesn't look good for Dems if Blacks make up a 1/3 of early voters means they'll make up less than their proportion of the population on Election Day.

Thats the party of the people voting, not necessarily who they voted for.

Yup. A lot of those returned Democrat ballots are going to be votes for Mitt Romney.
