Speaking in total generalities here, but:

White people enslave black people for 400 years, then legally segregate them for 100 years, then marginalize them for 40 more years, then scapegoat and blame them for all social ills up until the present. Then a black man runs for president, gets overwhelming support from the black community and you’re scratching your head over it? Really?

It's not even about Obama's race. Bill Clinton had overwhelming support from Blacks as well. It's more about party lines than anything.

I'd go one step further and say it's all about connecting with the masses.

bingo... and the same people crying over this are the same ones who have voted for white presidents their entire life.

Get over yourselves....

Why would blacks vote for a party whose members want to lynch them and ship them back to Africa? Would a jewish person vote for the Nazi party?

I think it is funny that the OP only mentioned black people. Hispanics voted 71% in favor of Obama. Asians voted even higher at 73%. The rest of the non-white races that weren't already mentioned voted 58% in favor of Obama. No threads, no nothing. Have you ever figured that a message of demonizing minorities in coded language and stereotypes is not going to go over smoothly with other minorities either?

It's quite the fan base.

We are still a divided nation...divided on many issues, including race.

How long can a divided house stand?

Default Just another form of slavery

They voted for Obama and will vote for Michelle Obama when she runs for President in 2016 and then 2020. He will legalize all 30+ million illegals so they will all run to get on welfare and will vote for Democrats to keep their check coming.

The sad thing is it is destroying this great country and we will go over the fiscal cliff soon. We have more sucking off the sytem than we have people who work and actually pay taxes.

Welfare is just another form of slavery but some are so blind (and lazy) that they don't see it that way.

End thread. LMAO.

Republicans:

Stop insulting black people at every turn and implying the only ones worth anything are the 15 already voting Republican.

Acknowledge that 1. Black people have been voting overwhelmingly Democrat since the dawn of the Southern Strategy years ago and 2. Given the history of this country, black people were going to get a bit excited at the idea of a black president. It's not rocket science.

Problem solved.

All the non crazy Republicans should get on the case.
