Typical left wing ignorance. Gore wanted a recount in only heavily Democrat counties, a fraud virtually guaranteeed to boost his vote total. Bush moved to quash that.

A consortium of 8 media organizations concluded that Bush would have won Florida under most recount scenarios.

The fact is that it was basically a tie election, much closer than the usual error rate of about 1/2 of one percent in US elections. But doubtless we will keep hearing this meme from the left for years to come.

Bush didn't "steal" the 2000 election.
