Ryan urged colleagues in a letter Tuesday to vote for Rep. Tom Price (GA) a favorite of the party's right wing to become the next House Republican Conference Chairman. In the election held yesterday, Speaker John Boehner's preference, Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA), defeated Price. It looks like Boehner may regain the control he lost to Cantor and Ryan.
As a poster on the Red State Blog said, "Republicans eat their own"- the Democrats don't do that."
