For a long time we played a game of the enemy of my enemy is our friend with our foreign policy decisions. This wasn't something just during the WW2 era either. We played the game for a long time with Mubarak who was a ruthless dictator. The 1980's were chalk full of the enemy of my enemy is my friend game. We had the funding of the Afghan's and Osama against the Soviets. We funded and armed Saddam Hussein during and even continuing after the Iraq/Iran War. Ironically enough Saddam was ultimately put to death for actions and killings of his own people that he committed with our knowledge during the time we were funding and arming him, and not only did we not say boo, but we even upped the arming and funding as the 80's wore on, long after we knew how ruthless he was. And of course you have Iran-Contra.

Nope. The 22nd Amendment is the one that stops a 3rd term. No if's and's or but's about it.

look at it this way. lets say the 22nd Amendment is repealed. obama runs for a 3rd term and loses to a republican. do you really want that republican to have a chance at more than 2 terms? i sure as hell dont.

No that was written out in like the 1940's. Not legal.

Hey guess what! Obama said the oath 4 times (1st time he messed up so he retook it in the first inauguration), and now Sunday and Monday with this time. So in a way he can say he got inaugaurated 4 times! sorta ironic. he can kinda compare himself to Roosevelt who also said the oath 4 times.
