Orman, however, came from humble beginnings — he received free lunch, for low-income students, growing up, and had to scrimp and save to get through college. His campaign has defended his wealth before, saying it’s a product of his “track record of success as a businessman.”
Why is that? Because the Republicans are quickly getting ready to buy many millions of dollars worth of attack ads to make sure their man wins?
No, because the Democrat dropped out of the race. It's now between Roberts, the incumbent Republican, and Orman, who is running as an Independent.
