More spin. It's would be a misconception if the media was saying things like "Mr Trump, it must feel great to be the guy that brought out 15,000 in attendance in Arizona" and Trump responded with "Yes, it does".

Quote:
Lying by omission, otherwise known as exclusionary detailing, is lying by either omitting certain facts or by failing to correct a misconception. In the case of the former, an example of this would be a car salesmen claiming a car to have amazing fuel economy while neglecting to mention that it has no engine and is completely immobile. In the case of the latter, it could be a situation in which a misconception exists that the claimant is aware of but fails to correct, such as a person who wanders around a hospital dressed as a doctor, offering treatment while failing to mention that she is in fact just getting a kick out of pretending to be a doctor.

Oh and he knew the capacity and tweeted as such saying that he got that amount into a 4200 capacity venue....
So perhaps he does think 15,000 were there. By definition, that isn't a lie.

Entertain conjecture of a time: what if the. Bush campaign had not sabotaged McCain with the "illegitimate child" lies right before the South Carolina primary back in 2000?

McCain, a vigorous man in his sixties, might well have become President. A totally didferent administration. E.g., no Iraq War II....

As another poster pointed out, Trump doesn't believe he's making an untruthful statement. By definition, one can't lie if they are saying what they believe to be truthful.

ooof!!!

i just saw the video. i'm actually shocked. he's making this claim after it was widely reported the facts of the venue and attendance. so trump is either intentionally lying or he is oblivious on a monumental level.

Do you have any proof to suggest he believes otherwise?

So you concede that he may not be lying. Now we're making progress.
