So, the McCain flap hasn't impacted Trump at all. He's even outside the margin of error for trending up. Do you see any other surprises?

Oops, sorry. I had my mind on looking at the trending with registered voters. The poll has both registered and people who self identify in separate questions.

Trump has a solid 20 to 25% of the Repuglican base. The question is, as candidates start to drop out, can he gain new supporters. In polls where voters are asked to list both their first and second choice, he doesn't fare as well, and when asked which candidate they are least likely to support, The Donald usually leads.

I thought Mr. Trump was at 24% in another poll. He has been stagnating around 18% as of late, it seems.

Polling rank is important because of the debate restrictions. Trending is important to show how all of the so-called news panelists have been wrong.

My guess is: as soon as he gets on stage and starts to belittle other candidates, his days may be numbered. Too many of us remember Reagans 11th commandment: speak no evil of other Republicans. My fear is: he will split and run as an independent and will pull a Perot; take the win right out of the hands of the Republicans.

If he does that it will be clear that The Donald is a Democrat plant designed to hand the election to Billary v2.0
