Like Trump, once Rubio unveils the DETAILS of his plans, he will begin to plummet. He offers nothing but the empty rhetoric of a party that has represented nothing but failure, ignorance, lousy policies, and bigotry.
Blowhard Republicans can claim otherwise, but ignoring the REALITY is why Romney is at home in Utah now, sitting on his big behind, picking his nose. Rubio is no different.
John McCain suspended his campaign once to "go back to Washington" to deal with an issue and look how that turned out. Instead of a war hero as President, we got an undocumented community organizer.
“He’s not a war hero. He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”

I remember when he suspended his campaign during the bailout negotiations. It didn't work for McCain because voters could easily see it was a PR stunt.
That's too bad. Hopefully and most likely they are wrong. Rubio just doesn't have what it takes, maybe in 8 or 12 years down the road but not now. I just don't see who would be voting for him. It seems to me that they throwing different candidates against Trump, Carson - down, Carly - down and get ready for Rubio to go down. Once the name gets out there as doing well, people take a good long hard look at the candidate and, down they go, well, except in Trump's case. Trump 2016!
Frankly, what I noticed about Rubio in the debates was that he was as "nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs". I would say he is probably an overachiever and, like I said, could be a viable candidate on down the road.
He looks likes like a boy on stage among adults. When he speaks in any venue he talks too fast and appears over eager and out of breath. I think he wants this for all the wrong reasons.

I agree. He is like a wind up toy. And don’t forget he is always dry mouthed. Can you just see him in a cabinet meeting surrounded by 4 tough looking star generals? He is going to order them into war?
I got a laugh out of a comment made in one article about Rubio. The commenter likened him to a cross between Wally Cleaver and the kid who reminds his teacher she forgot to assign homework.
If looks could kill it will kill Rubio's chances. He looks too young for the job. Painting him as unqualified will be easy. Hillary or Ol' Joe will lecture him like a petulant little boy in the debates. On the positive side, it will be harder to make the latino case with a gang of eight amnesty guy running on the right.
The Dems are clearly terrified of Marco Rubio. Have you ever heard him speak? Unlike Barack Obama, Marco Rubio actually may be a once in a generation orator.
