So, you are admitting that the rich violate U.S. tax laws?

He believes that the rich dont pay taxes in Sweden, even though the biggest taxpayers there pay tens of millions of dollars in taxes every year according to official tax records, and that income inequality is really very high in Sweden, we just dont know it becaue the rich dont pay taxes there apparently. According to this poster it's all because no other country in the world except the US tax all citizens regardless of residence. Lots of conjecture there.

Exactly. And all the while, they let their rich legally hide investment income and capital gains in foreign accounts so that it's not taxed at all.

There's a lesson for you and any other 'tax the rich' zealot in that...

No. I'm saying the rich are legally allowed to avoid taxes in Scandinavian and European countries, unlike here in the U.S. And guess which countries have more income equality and better and more social and safety program benefits... Is it the U.S. with our progressive tax system, taxation of worldwide income, and FATCA law? No. It's Scandinavian and European countries with their REGRESSIVE tax system, and the ability of their rich to legally avoid taxes on income and capital gains, at will.

Many don't. Prime example: IKEA's founder, Swedish citizen multi-billionaire Ingvar Kamprad, based his holdings in the Netherlands and Luxembourg and never had to pay Sweden any income or capital gains taxes at all on his billions in income and gains over several decades. And it was all perfectly legal to do so, as it also is in the other Scandinavian and European countries. They don't tax foreign income or capital gains, and they have no such thing as the FATCA law the U.S. has.

Do you really think "Scandinavia" is doing fine because of "better benefits"? Really?

Obama was/is a proven liar that often times voted "present" as opposed to taking a position. I do not deny that Obama said the same thing. During the 2008 elections I had hoped he would live up to his word but I didn't really think he would so I couldn't bring myself to vote for him (I didn't vote for McCain either).

Sanders has a long history of being against the wars and he isn't known for being untruthful. Extremely partisan? Yes, and that does worry me but he seems to be pretty honest.
