No, it isn't. Both political parties work to garner enough votes to guarantee the outcome they desire. When it becomes clear that there is going to be a clear majority and a bill, nomination, resolution, etc., will pass (or not, depending on the desired outcome) easily, they let party members with conflicting principles (or constituents' interests) vote in a contradictory manner without repercussion in the interest of preserving that seat.

That's where Bernie's vote comes in. He could have voted nay on Holder's nomination, Holder still would have been nominated, and we could be sure that Bernie isn't lying about his position on Wall Street. Since Bernie voted for Holder when he didn't have to, it's pretty clear all of his blustering rhetoric about Wall Street is nothing but lies.

Holder? Small potatoes.
Small potatoes?!? Holder was installed to ASSURE no bankers/Wall Streeters would go to jail.

You're really clutching at straws. First of all, Sanders is an independent.

He is on record castigating all the culprits of the financial crisis YEARS before the crash took place. Its literally absurd what you are suggesting. Vote for Jeb! or whoever you vote for. I'm sure you will be well served under him.

He caucuses with the Dems, and is running as a Democrat.

Like I said, watch what he DOES, not what he says. Lip service is very, very cheap in Washington, DC. Politicians lie to get votes all the time.

Of course. As Bernie said, Wall Street controls Washington, not the other way around.

The place to fight the corruption is where Bernie is fighting it now. Come join the fight and get the message out. The Billionaire Class owns Government and it's time for the people to take back control.

I just simply can't trust Bernie since his actions don't match his words.

You have to realize what guts it takes just to say what Bernie is saying. He is going up the most powerful Establishment machine in history. It really takws True Grit to go out with the message that he is articulating.

Hillary is railing against Wall Street too. Her lies are even less believable than Bernie's.

Hahaha!

You honestly believe he is beholden to Wall Street. This is hilarious. He has pushed tirelessly to rein in Wall Street for 30 years in votes that matter. Not even the most die hard Republican in Congress would throw these accusations at Bernie. Talk to any Republican in bed with Wall Street, and they'll tell you. You are off the wall.

Tell us, how much money has Sanders received from Wall Street during his career, UnInformedConsent.

What establishment are you talking about? America was like that since the revolutionary war. What separates Rubio from many other candidates?
The point you raise (and a legitimate one) is about the American system. That is a total different debate. However, if you want to reshape America, you have an uphill battle, much bigger than with Rubio.
