Just when Rubio thought he has figured out how to capture the news cycle, Trump once again proved to little Marco that he has a lot to learn. The wet pants story got old real fast.
I dunno. I have seen more of Little Marco on the screen in the past two days than in the entire campaign. CNN even cut away from Trump's rally in VA to show Rubio working his monologue. Like Trump, Robio is going to need come up with new material every day though if he wants to keep the cameras trained on him. Maybe he could pay some BLM demonstrators to crash one of his gatherings.
Oh ok, then the racist Democrat voters elected them and they were welcomed with open arms and honored within the Democratic party which IS the DNC.
No the Democratic Party is NOT the DNC, it is more like fingers and thumbs... the DNC, or Democratic National Committee is not the entirety of the democratic Party, it is not all the people in the party, it is a subset of all the people in the party. Same thing with the RNC on the Republican side.
David Duke himself has been a candidate for multiple political offices.
Senator Byrd is often cited.
And ethnocentrist policies are often rooted in racism, and are inevitably biased. A policy barring all Muslims, would be an ethnocentrist policy. The building of a wall between countries would be ethnocentrism, very symbolically.
And please don't compare that wall to the wall around the Vatican, which was a defensive parameter constructed when Italy was composed of city-states that often warred with one another.
He said he couldn't denounce groups that he knows nothing about. He said if he researches them, and they are involved in wrongdoing, he would denounce them.
He knows about them. He is just confused as to how to maximize his appeal.
While there may be some racists that vote for Trump, there is no doubt that there are racists supporting all of the other candidates, in both the parties. This is nothing but attacks from people that fear a candidate that can beat the Democrats in the general election.
You mean like how people believed Obama's Hope and Change promises? I couldn't believe the sheer number of otherwise reasonably intelligent people that actually believed Obama's Hope and Change. Seeing that really woke me up to just how many people are completely out of touch with reality.
I think many, maybe even most people have some reservations about Trump, and have some doubts that he could/would do everything he is saying. At least with Trump (that isn't owned by special interests groups) there is some reason to believe that he may try to do the things he is saying.
None of the prior, sitting or future presidents will do everything they said they would do. There is no president who has ever fulfilled their campaign promises. Sometimes they try and Congress won't go along, even when the majority party is aligned with the president and sometimes other priorities take precedent.
Despite these facts, the masses seem to convince themselves this time will be different, every 4-8 years.
We are officially the laughing stock of the rest of the world.
We didn't learn anything from WW2.
