Rubio and Kasich both need to get out before Ohio and Florida vote on the 15th for Cruz to have a fighting chance. And he's obviously the only one that does have a chance of winning the nomination besides Trump. Actually, they should really get out immediately because Michigan votes next week and they have quite a few delegates.

Ironic that the Republicans have the most conservative, principled candidate they've had in a very long time, and they are turning their backs on him because he refused to become part of the corrupt D.C. political monster that has not been working in the best interests of our citizens. Fools.

the Republicans want to force feed Rubio as the winning ticket, the people obviously don't want him. Yet they still believe in their Savior in denial. If they try to pull that brokered convention stuff, the whole voting process will be broken, and we the people really have no power.

Everything fell into Trumps favor last night as far as the voting results. He did very well while keeping both Cruz and Rubio in the race continuing to split anti Trump votes between them. It was Trumps best cast scenario.
He will now certainly win Florida and has a very good chance at winning Ohio, with both states winner take all delegates in large numbers.

Cruz can't beat Trump in Ohio or Florida one on one against Trump......Cruz only does well in the very conservative South except Florida.

The rest of the states up North and Northern East and West Coast doesn't look good for Cruz....those are moderate/independent voter states.

sorry, Cruz is too religious to win in the general...everytime he speaks he sounds like a evangelical preacher and only needs the bible on one hand and a big cross necklace on his chest to complete the picture....that's why he does poorly in all the states outside the bible belt.

Default Rubio is going to stay in

After he loses Florida, he'll bail.

He is just not leadership material. Not yet in any case. I do not see why he was put forward other than for his youth. Too nervous. No confidence. No charisma.

Cruz has the least chance of winning a general election. He's too far right. Almost everyone can see this but a few pro-Hilary people.

Pro Hillary people saw Cruz is a loser from the beginning.
There are many valid reasons why he is the most detested Senator in Washington, and none of them come from his conservatism or religious beliefs. Both are shared by many other, more effective, Senators.

Rubio is simply lazy. I don't think he is anywhere as smart as he thinks he is, and he sure likes the title and the perks of the Senate, but he doesn't like the work. I've known guys just like him.

He's a perfect example of the Peter Principle.

Rubio has to win Florida. If he does, he can (and will) win the nomination. If he doesn't, you're looking at Trump as the nominee.

I agree that Cruz isn't going to win much of anything outside the South. He built his campaign to have it in the bag by now, with Texas, Iowa, South Carolina and the Super Tuesday states (OK, AR, TN, GA, VA, AL) in his column.

If Rubio dropped out, Trump would beat Cruz one on one in the vast majority of the remaining states.

The GOP will keep funding Rubio to try to keep Trump from getting the delegates that he needs just as someone already pointed out. Romney is a proven loser but if the GOP and Dems are joined at the hip, it makes him the perfect candidate.

Rubio won A state. Cruz would never get the GOP nomination even though he would guarantee a loss just like Romney, Cruz is just too much of a religious loon which would make a lot of the GOP uncomfortable.
