His insulting and insecure ego will cause such chaos, division, and rioting in this country, we will be constantly distracted from solving the real problems --- it will always be about Trump, Trump, Trump.
I have to agree with the bolded part of the quote. At the same time, we need a radical change in this country.

We need to end once and for all the two-party rulership.

Please, if your only issue in this campaign is immigration, stay home on election day and let the people that are interested in the economy, infrastructure, environment and ending wars and keeping our country safe from terrorism decide on the best candidate.
Never said any of that. But you know plenty of idiots on the Internet to jump to conclusions and create posts with such.

For everyone that hates Trump so much, let's reflect on the past 2 presidents:

- George Bush was a GOP stooge (similar to Rubio) who really had no mind of his own. The Great Recession began during his watch.
- Barack Obama is a smooth talking black guy. Something different, so to speak. Very politically correct. Terrible health care plan. Led to more division in this country than previous presidents. Didn't really help the economy.

People are just tired of the same old thing. Trump is different so we're willing to give him a try. If his presidency is a disaster, it won't be much worse than his incompetent predecessors.

Voters are voting mostly for Trump, he is not destroying anybody, it's the Republicans who think they can tell voters that their vote does not matter. They are so desperate that now they are clinging to John Kasich, pathetic really.

Trump may "tell it like it is", but his popularity is mainly driven off of saying things people want to hear with no way to deliver on those promises. Someone should tell the man that DC is not Celebrity Apprentice where you get to say "you're fired" to Congress when you don't like working with them. After he does a few crazy things in the first half of his term, a bunch of Democrats will come in. And you're not going to reverse globalization or get Mexico to pay for a giant wall. The things he's saying he's going to deliver on would be hard even if he was dictator; he wouldn't be, he would be one component in a system of checks and balances. I think he'll end up hating it and being a frustrating disappointment.

Does one REALLY need the internet to see through Trump's thin skin, or does one only need ears and eyes??? Are you denying that you major concern in this election is immigration? If it isn't you are not a true Trump supporter.

I was making the on-topic point that presidents/potential presidents say lots of silly things. They are constantly in the spot light, being hyper analyzed, grueling schedules, etc. And given you obviously don't like trump, you were trying to make it seem like it was a unique thing for him to say silly things, and the odd conclusion that "people admire this" based on one statement as your proof. Using your logic, we can conclude the guy in the white house who thinks we have 57 states and all the other bizarre things he said, people actually "admire this" and the nation is in "trouble". Well, actually, wait.....

He's leading the nomination race and won the vast majority of states so according to your logic, we do indeed have lots of "stupid" people. Therefore, you might want to read the TOS yourself before insulting a bunch of people making choices for a candidate that you don't agree with and calling them "stupid" for their choice. And he won big time in what looks like your state of residence, FL, so you might want to be not so hard on yourself.

Correct, the media study had nothing to do with your post. If you looked back on my post, I was not responding to you but to this individual

I think you have something troubling you where you to act in the manner you do on CD.

But then there are a few Trump obsessed folks on here as well. At least they are humorous.

It's true Trump is creating new voters. A lot of his supporters have never voted before in their lives and have always been indifferent or felt disenfranchised. These feelings are sincere, and must be recognized.

But do not believe they are a majority of us. They are not, and to win, Trump would need to capture much more of the establishment Republicans, and a lot of disaffected Democrats. He would also have to convince all the undecided voters that winging it is a viable way to lead the nation as President.

Trump has never spoken to those voters. In fact, he attacks them, and has from the beginning. Even if he was to take on a more conciliatory and inclusive tone from here to the convention, it's too late for him now to convince them to come over to his side. He has created a deep mistrust in them, and a real fear of the consequences of his becoming the President of the United States of America.

There are only two ways a President wins. Hope and fear. Trump hold out hope to his supporters, and fear to all the others. All the others outnumber his supporters, and the fearful include half of his own party.

Draw your own conclusions. It looks like the Democratic nominee will be a woman every American knows about and has been a part of our politics for over 30 years. Everyone knows Trump now, too, but he is still an unknown mystery off the podiums on the campaign trail. No one knows what kind of President he would make.

Where does the GOP go from here?
Down a dark and murky road. A road that is full of obstacles and no light to lead them on.

No matter what the results of this election may be, the Republican Party will emerge as a completely different entity than it has been in the past 75 years.

The Democrats already went down that same road, back in 1968, and it took 30 years to emerge as a different party. And they are still undergoing changes that 1968 wrought, 48 years ago, long after the causes that fractured the party disappeared.

If by "worried, fearful and angry" you mean tired of footing the bill for lazy dirty bags and illegal aliens while Democrats expect us to apologize for being white every time they toss out the race card, then yes.

And FTR, sticking it to the corporate ***** wing of the Republican Party (Rubio, Kasich, Bush) gives me a warm-fuzzy feeling.

I really don`t see the Republican Party surviving this.
