Kasich was given a large sum of money by George Soros to keep in the race.. This is getting very interesting.

PA is coming up in a couple of weeks. Trump needs PA badly. It's looking like Trump won't get the GOP nomination if he loses both WI and PA. Of course he wants Kasich to drop out.

Besides, Kasich might end of getting the nomination at the brokered convention because Kasich polls so well in the general election.
Leads down to 6 Cod ... anything can happen on Tuesday night especially if Ted is on the "list".

Cruz has been talking about Kasich leaving for a long time, no news there... But, trump is pretty whiny in this about the unfairness of Kasich being allowed to continue to run, and take his votes.
"Mr. Trump, who last week met with R.N.C. officials in Washington, said he had been mentioning his concerns to committee officials, including Reince Priebus, the party’s chairman.

“I said, ‘Why is a guy allowed to run?’” He said. “All he’s doing is just he goes from place to place, and loses, and he keeps on running.”

Mr. Trump added that he told the R.N.C. that the situation was “very unfair.”

“He doesn’t have to run and take my votes,” Mr. Trump said."

Let me think... Kasich is continuing to run because he wants to, right? Nobody can stop someone who is legally eligible from running, right? Isn't that why there started out being 17 repubs running? How unfair was that? So disgusting!

Cruz noted that it’s mathematically impossible for Kasich to reach the 1,237 delegates needed to secure the GOP nomination. So the only role Kasich is playing now is that of a “spoiler” by taking votes that could have gone to Cruz.
Oh boo hoo hoo.

But let's keep making threads and pretending Trump is a problem, despite the fact that Cruz, your candidate, has done the EXACT. SAME. THING.

You have to understand what is going on here. Even some Democrats have posted and agree with this.

The GOP leadership is trying to get Trump knocked out by trying to keep him from getting to his 1237 delegates. GOP leadership is using both Kasich and Cruz to do that. Then they are going to dump Kasich and Cruz for a "fresh face." Even if Trump gets to 1237, some of the delegates Trump previously won are backing out.

Even Glenn Beck, a huge Cruz supporter, called Kasich an SOB for staying in.

We need to try to get past the Trump hate thing and focus on who the GOP leadership is going to try to stick us all with. Now, if Trump starts getting close to 1237 and wins like some are predicting, then carry on with the Trump hate thing. Nobody would expect you do to less.

If I had a better option Cruz would not be "my" candidate. He is not who I voted for in the primary, nor is he who I started the election cycle supporting.

I have to agree with you. If I need to vote for Cruz I will in the general election. In my biased mind, anything and anyone is better than Hillary. I could never vote for her, ever. I'd rather vote for a Vermont socialist than her if it came down to it.

Hell, being called an SOB by Beck could get someone my vote.

Trump needs Kasich to drop out. Kasich needs to stay in if he wants to play his best hand at a brokered convention. The irritation of other partisans demonstrates that much.
