I had to turn off the TV when Bernie began his speech in CA tonight. Instead of congratulating Clinton and saying "it was a very close race" in Kentucky, he b*tched and moaned that it was a closed primary. Then he went on to talk about California and how the voters were going to decide who would be running for President, as if he has any chance of winning the nomination.

As of 8:30 with 60% of the vote counted, Sanders has a 6 point lead in Oregon.

I find it amazing that he is doing so well at this stage of the primary season. Incredible really. We all know that if independents were allowed to vote, the margins would be much, much higher. It really shows the level of commitment to Sanders so many of his followers have.

Sanders definitely winning Oregon, but he's not getting anywhere near 65% of the vote. I guess one positive about Oregon so far, is that you don't have the 6.8% "other vote" that they had in the Kentucky Democratic primary and the 12.8% "other vote" that they had in the West Virginia Democratic primary.

Kind of interesting this late in the primary season where you still get 6 to 12% of the voters selecting "other" in the democratic primaries.

Meh, Trump would chew him up and spit him out in no time flat. Trump's and the GOP's biggest regret is that they'll never get to use the truckload of dirt they have on Bernie. Fresh dirt too, not the old stale stuff they have to keep recycling on Hillary..

NBC called it for Bernie. Only a 6 point margin right now though. I'll still be very happy with 10 or under if that is where it ends up.

I put that down to folks who want to vote down-ticket in the primary for state or local candidates but aren't thrilled with the presidential candidates.
I've been there done that myself.

Talk to us about the "fresh dirt" please.

Sanders runs a clean campaign so he could just re-play this clip:

Interesting tweets from Benchmark:

If Sanders cannot win in a landslide in Oregon, he will not win California.

Oregon is so good for Sanders demographically... California is not, not nearly as good, even with independents voting.

Sanders will need to win every state after this 68%-32%

Nearly half of Multnomah County- Portland has yet to come in, so it will probably climb.
