I think there's a lot of people around who still have an axe to grind after it took over the Houston Post.

I was looking at photos of Billings and it kinda has the same landscape as parts of California but with freezing cold Winters. Otherwise, I would consider living there. Billings would have to support Palm Trees or moderate year round temperatures. LOL

These days, that is the membership initiation fee to join the propaganda machine and receive the blessing of the new socialist party formerly known as the dem party.

The most conservative is the Gonzales Inquirer.

If you have ever read this newspaper (which I highly doubt) you would know it's far from being Consevative.

You think the majority of Republicans agree with the GOP??? How do you think he became so popular. Both Bernie and Trump were huge surprises this year and it's because people are so very tired of the same political crap over and over!

Maybe in 1990 it would make a difference but this is a year like no other year. 2016 and the PC is out the door and Trump supporters and people with common sense already stopped reading news papers and having CNN tell us how to think.

The Post was the 'liberal' Houston paper when it was purchased by the Chronicle. The Post was purchased for the printing plant, not the editorial staff.

Anybody who thinks the Chronicle is liberal couldn't find their own arze with two hands and flashlight.

It has a long history of being the establishment paper. The establishment in Houston in not liberal. Maybe they elected a lesbian mayor, but the liberals consider her a Republican.

They did endorse Obama in 08, but in 2012 it was Romney. The last Democrat to get the POTUS endorsement was LBJ. That was Brown and Root.

IIRC, for the Republican primary this year their pick was JEB.
