Buffett just challenged Trump to release his tax return and Buffet will then release his own return.
Unlike Trump, Buffet has shared the rate he pays which is less than the rate his secretary pays. Trump has declined to do so. He hides behind " being audited".
Both Trump and Buffett's returns are being audited. Nothing about the audit precludes a release. Nothing precludes releasing prior years returns.
It has been customary for candidates to release their returns for almost 40 years, including returns being audited.
Buffett always have been the 1% billionaire who with his insurance company for which I will not make advertising is misleading the public to be cheap but just selling the worst insurance and letting drivers buy the worst ones they can have just so naïve drivers believe they have great coverage and Buffett pockets are filled with comparing apples with oranges.
The sales people for that insurance company mention Buffett name as a selling point. Liberals hate the rich but embrace Buffett!
Hillary always is surrounded with the rich and the ones she bashes and they all seem so ok with that.
These rich people must pull a lot of strings with Hilliary
I imagine that Mr. Buffett knows that Mr. Trump will not pick up the glove flung down.
Regardless, as I have said before, it is not a Constitutional requirement for a presidential nominee to release said tax forms. I do not care if other candidates, dating back to Richard Nixon, have done so. I wish that Mr. Trump would simply say 'None of your business', however, rather than rely on the 'audit' excuse.
Mr. Trump also benefits from the fact that the Constitution does not require a person to be of sound mind.
Obviously Trump has taken advantage of every loophole in the ridiculously complicated tax code. Nothing to see here. The tax code benefits the rich who can afford accountants, tax lawyers, estate lawyers, tax preparers, etc. This is why the Republican Party has been at the forefront calling for tax reform and a flat tax.
I really don't care about either one of their tax returns. I care about the real issues that are destroying our country, one of them being people like the Democratic nominee.
The issues are: Economics, Jobs, Security and Healthcare. We are being overrun by illegal aliens and unvetted refugees that are dragging our country, along with having all decent jobs shipped out of the country, into 3rd world status.
So, unless someone can connect the dots between Trump's tax returns the issues I have named, this is yet a non-issue with the stench of the frustrated, desperate and incompetent Democratic Party.

Perhaps Trump should, but there is no legal requirement to. His complicated tax returns will be lied about and easily misunderstood.
Buffett is a bit of a hypocrite and is deceptive in his claims.
#1 Democrats hear what Buffett says and think that most secretaries pay more than their rich bosses, which isn't true. It is possible that Buffett's millionaire secretary pays a higher rate in income taxes than Buffett the billionaire. Most secretaries aren't millionaires and most pay little or even no income taxes.
#3 Democrats ignore that Buffett lobbies (pays money) to get taxes lowered for private jet owners on multiple occasions from multiple angles.
He has been sued by the government over this issue, paid big lawyers and won. How sincere is this desire to pay more in taxes, he isn't putting his mouth where he puts his lobbying money.
Guess what, it isn't middle class people using his company NetJets that owed $500 million in back taxes by saying that they weren't a commercial airline and therefore could avoid paying that tax.
Who profits? Shareholders and NetJet users. Who is the biggest shareholder? Buffett! Who are NetJet users? The rich!
#4 So one Buffett company, NetJet owed $500,000,000.00 in back taxes...another Buffett company owes $1,000,000,000.00 in back taxes and he has an army of lawyers working on getting out of it. Buffett sure likes paying his taxes unless he as a shareholder benefits from his company not paying what is due. He tells the public that higher tax rates won't reduce investments from the rich, while his lawyers argue the opposite in court. Hypocrite.
#5 Buffett could choose to pay more, but does not. Instead he brags about various loopholes he uses.
Maybe we should raise taxes on the rich, but Buffett is a hypocrite full of disingenuous hyperbole on the issue.

What's "customary" isn't what's required. And releasing ones personal income tax returns never will be required. Who cares if Buffet, who never saw a liberal he didn't like, chooses to release his?
Trump is right. He knows that the media (and biddy-bat voters) can't wait to see how he, most likely, pays as little in taxes as possible (uh...that's the idea). Finally, there's someone with guts enough to say he's not doing it. It's about time.
Also, he is known for sage financial advice. Whereas Mr. Trump has failed at numerous business ventures and has been sued thousands of times for fraud.
Just saying.
