This was in reply to Trump's alluding her staying home the days prior to the debate while he was all over the country. Clinton replied that, yes I was preparing for the debate, but I'll tell you, I was also preparing for being the president!
Yeeeaaaahhh, we all know you've been preparing for being the president since 40+ years ago. In fact, that's the only thing you've been doing in your adult life. To that end, hundreds of your associates disappeared from the planet earth.
.... some folks like prepared leaders who aren't sucking winding and bumbling through their talking points.
Defies belief that some people think it's a negative for someone who is one of the only two people who have a chance of becoming our next president to try to prepare for the job.
Perhaps Trump should have prepared a bit more. He should have been ready for every single question that was asked instead of fumbling and bumbling for an answer.
Truly the absolute WORST performance in the history of presidential debates.
And stupidly. Trump's answers were incoherent word salad.
And his actions when Clinton was speaking - totally clownlike. Did he not realize the camera would be on him the entire 90 minutes?
Didn't seem like it. Fumbling, bumbling, glaring, whispering and muttering to himself; grimacing, grunting, sniffing, sucking down water . . .
Oh MY - what a display that was.
Really, these weren't difficult or trick questions. Anyone could easily have anticipated them.
And his sniffling and making faces and interrupting with, "Wrong." What was that all about? Can you just imagine him in a meeting with other heads of states.
Trump clearly has a difficult time dealing in a professional manner with women. If the next moderator is Martha Raddatz, that ought to be a doozy of a debate.

Does it matter though? Was it a surprise to anyone last night that Trump is a bombastic blowhard? It will come down to whether people want status quo or not.
These debates are most likely completely useless. The candidates couldn't be better known by now.
Probably about this time next week we will know what if any impact the debate had and might start seeing signs by the end of the week or weekend.
Too bad she wasn't prepare to be a Senator. Three bills sponsored, all renaming something. Too bad she wasn't prepared to be Sec of State. Keeping us involved in other nations civil wars and running guns which led to the deaths of 4 Americans in Benghazi.
The hypocritical left, complaining about being in the Middle East unless it's their person in the White House doing the murdering of innocents or running guns, then they suddenly fall silent.
I'm surprised Chris Christy didn't rush out onto the stage with a Kleenex for Trump........after all, he has been kissing his butt for the past year ! Christy looks like a little puppy dog, jumping on Trumps leg for attention and approval.
Trump was sniffing like some coke head, and it only added to how annoying and hard to watch he was:
Something else I must add. To all of you who said Hillary would not show, that she would be shaking in her boots, that she would need to sit down, that she would collapse and faint...........Hahahahahahahaha !! Sorry she disappointed you, she looked great last night, unlike Mr Sniffy Nose, who was as unprepared as they come. He looked like a first class fool, and he KNEW IT after it ended.
Well, if he brings up Bill's affairs at next debate (like he's threatened to after this recent debate), it will boomerang back to him. She didn't have the affairs and whatever names he calls her or brings up, women watching will not be on his side. I'm saying--he's really going to put in the last nail...if he goes near that one.
He doesn't bring it up to say SHE had affairs, rather, it's what she did to the victims AFTER Bill's little dalliance that he's pointing out.
