Ohio is not turning Republican? HUH?

Governor: Republican
House of representatives: Republicans 60 seats Democrats 39 seats
State Senate: Republicans 23 seats Democrats 10 seats
U.S. House Delegation: 12 Republicans 4 Democrats.

hmm I'm not an expert but the tide is turning Republican in Ohio since Obama won re-election in 2012, more people in Ohio have been voting Republican in that state.

but don't let the facts get in the way of your opinions.

By conceding Ohio, he was able to invest the needed resources in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan, and make a big play for Florida. (It made much more sense to concentrate on Florida at the expense of Ohio, because Florida--with its large Jewish population--would respond favorably to Gore's decision to put Joe Lieberman on the Democratic ticket.)
Yep, so how'd that work out for him.

The anti Free Trade message Michigan showed mattered via wins for Bernie & Trump will carry the day throughout the Rust Belt, and may swing Pennsylvania. That could mean her hubby's NAFTA stance cost her the Presidency.

"IF" Ohio isn't worth pursuing that means Pennsylvania and Michigan are getting close to a toss up.

What is interesting, is that CNN mentions that she is reducing resources in Ohio to concentrate on states that Obama won in 2012.....

Umm, Obama won Ohio in 2012.

Actually, I suspect that if Gore didn't devote so much time in Florida (and instead made a play for Ohio), Bush would have handily defeated Gore in that state. Consequently, we wouldn't have had to wait 36 days for a winner to be declared, nor would we have had to put up with the endless whining from the far-left over how Florida was "stolen" from Gore.

Granted, things didn't work out for Gore in the end, but I still feel that conceding Ohio and focusing like a laser beam on Florida was the right decision. And, to be honest, if enough of Gore's voters were actually smart enough to be able to use the Palm Beach County butterfly ballot, the entire outcome of the race would have been different.

Did anybody listen to the link? I didn’t hear anybody quote a Clinton source. "Jeff Zeleny reports the Clinton campaign is pulling back on its Ohio focus.” I think this is more kitty litter tracked in by somebody.

I do suspect campaign internal polls (HRC) must be horrific, and Ohio will be a bell weather state, especially if the shift vs prior elections is white, middle aged or slightly younger men, as that would mean trade turned those votes.
