Donald Trump catered to his base. They are happy with his attack mode performance. He however did absolutely nothing to grow his base and likely further turned off undecideds.

Um, did anyone else see otherwise? Trump was a trainwreck. Polling is polling. Administering polls isn't the same as controlling. But would anyone believe Trump won if someone skewed the results? No.
Trump was bullying and played his base rather than expand it. He had the chance to bring up Arizona in healthcare. Out of all 13 counties, 11 only have ONE provider. He had a chance to put a face to it like Joe The Plumber from 2008, he failed to do it.
