What else has she got? It's over for her now. This is her last chance to salvage some relevancy from this campaign. The election is not going to be overturned, but there is a very real chance that some serious irregularities - and conceivably, even some corruption by elections officials - could be uncovered. If that happens, it will always have been Jill Stein who led the fight and brought it to light. If by chance something serious does come of this, it could very easily be the highwater mark of her political career. This is not exactly a win-win scenario for her, but at worst it's a a no-lose, and there is a chance of there being a considerable upside.

Well, that would make sense only if she would call for recount in the event that Clinton won on 11/8.

Her motive is to get her name in the news. With enough name recognition she could run as a Democrat in 2020 and attract the Sanders crowd.

No, no - not really. I agree that would be her best case, but if the recounts simply show proof of some vote tampering by elections officials, or hacked or even malfunctioning machines, that's going to be big news even if Hillary still loses (which she almost certainly will). And she will always be remembered as the one who brought it to light. She has the chance to gain quite a legacy here, with very little risk.

This is absolutely ridiculous, but kinda funny at the same time. So the situation is:

Wisconsin - There will be a recount, but apparently it was rejected a recount by hand because they probably know it´s a waste of time, result won´t change and since the method of counting will probably be the same even less reasons for much change (still of the 3 states i think it is the only state where it makes at least a bit of sense to make the recount).

Michigan - They took 3 weeks, it was the last state to be confirmed because it is 100% paper ballots and finally yesterday was certified, after i don´t know how many recounts they made there, probably more then Stein has votes and it´s confirmed Trump won (again!). Apparently Stein wants to hear it again so she wants another (!) recount on this 100% paper ballot state, and Trump can even contest that recount because yeah it´s pretty ridiculous at this point. Funny stuff this one.

Pennsylvania - It´s almost impossible to get a recount, the deadlines already passed, and now Stein is willing to put her energy (and everyone who is silly enough to believe this) to go to court without evidence of fraud wasting everyones time and money (no refunds lol). And this is in a state where Trump won by approximadetely 70,000 votes and a 1.2% percent margin.

Basically Trump wins again, Stein gets what she wants (money) and liberals lose again (losing the election twice, and losing money twice donating to Hillary via Sanders and now donating to Stein for a ridiculous recount).

Donald Trump is the 45th President of the United States. It´s gonna happen.

Jill Stein went from, "A vote for Hillary is a vote for nuclear war!" to spearheading the most ridiculous long-shot and blatantly biased recount effort ever on Hillary Clinton's behalf. It's downright bizarre. Jill Stein went from being the sane non-warmongering truly liberal liberal alternative to being Hillary's personal little *****. She is doing untold damage to her own credibility and that of the Green Party as well. If she was also pursuing recounts in MN, NH and NV then she might at least salvage some self-respect and keep up appearances. Her failure to do so destroys any illusion. She is a fully owned and operated subsidiary, robot and proxy for the Clinton Campaign and the Clinton Foundation.

It's hard to put into words how disappointing this is, coming from somebody that thought she was legit. Was she lying to her supporters all along, or is this some weird case of bribery that has led her to completely betraying everyone who believed in her?

At this point I really don`t care what her motives are.

However, she`s given a bit of momentum to those who believe in stronger voter ID laws.

What this is all about is trying to keep the members of the electoral college from voting on 12/19 and to say Trump's presidency is not legitimate throughout his term, even though of course it would be. If they can get Trump below 270 EC votes, it will go to the house. Members of the house have already shown they can be paid off. Look at the money Ryan and others took in for a + TPP vote. The best case scenario for them is to have Hillary with her hand on the Bible at the inauguration. The fall back position is to delegitimize his presidency so Hillary can hopefully be elected in 2020 (gag).
