Trump won, but he will be the worst President ever! The World doesn't respect him.

you mean the liberal left.....what is new? and the world will respect the President of the most powerful country that many countries depend for handouts and defense......if what you say is true which is not, that attitude will change quickly.

Loss of local labor has farmers turning to H-2A program
That is a bald faced lie. I spent some years in central WA when I was a teen, and there are PLENTY of people who worked those crops...even teenagers for summer jobs. Having said that, the hiring of illegals has been going on since I was a kid. They were everywhere. Back then, however, they were not the majority of the workers, they were about half...so they took jobs away, but they didn't take all of them away. The Japanese would come over, as well, to test out making "designer" apples, but the Japanese were not illegal, and they only worked in a few orchards.

The Hispanics would come up, pick the apples, set up the orchards for the winter, and then they would move out to another state to work on other crops. It was my first time seeing their little white huts that they cram themselves in to. It's literally a one story, stone hut. The huts were white. Many lived in each hut. They were single males that came up every single year and sent all of that money back to their families...if they didn't spend it at the bar.

They didn't cause too many problems as far as crime, but they would sometimes follow us in cars as we rode our bikes around the neighborhood. At that point, some kids would just yell out, "My dad works for Border Patrol" and off they would go. Kind of stupid since we weren't near a border.

Not all orchards up there hired illegals, and the ones that didn't, had PLENTY of American citizens working those orchards. The apple packing plants were not inundated with illegals at the time, it was all American citizens working in those plants. In that part of the country, that was ALL that there was to do because it was all orchards. You might have a few constructions workers, hospital workers, teachers, and some store clerks, but other than that, there was nothing else to do for work.

Now when I look up that town, it's 80% Hispanic. I don't care that it is, I care HOW it got to be that way, and much of that is the acceptance of people in this country to hire illegals.

But don't think for a minute that the liberal cries about illegals "wanting the same life we have" means jack all, because it's also a lie. Unless liberals think it's okay for people to be crammed in to a tiny white hut making hardly any money as compared to what we teenagers got for working that same orchard.

Trump hasn't taken the oath and the liberal media and the left already calling him the worst President ever because he is not "respected" around the world.........Trump is the least of a WAR HAWK compare to Bush, Obama and Hillary but the world doesn't "respect" him? LOL

The left is silly.....I don't care if the world likes us, as long that the President puts our country and Americans first above other countries and foreign interests....if Trump can do that, he will be fine.

You said it in a nutshell. I can't imagine President Trump going on an "apology tour".

First off, I expect that he'll be a lousy president. But let's keep our heads here. There once was a president of the United States who was so hated and so wildly unpopular that after his election, 11 states seceded from the United States. They hated him and everything he stood for so passionately that they raised an army and repelled the United States military for four years. In the process they endured the greatest mass-death in US history. In the states that remained loyal, that president was constantly criticized and not particularly well-loved by them either.

That much-hated president was named Abraham Lincoln and he is now widely regarded as the greatest president we've ever had.

I'm certainly not saying that Trump is Abraham Lincoln. The point is, wait till the guy takes office and actually proves himself to be an abject failure before denouncing him as one. We honestly have no idea how he'll do yet.

We have an idea of what he'll do and it's frightening. Just off the top of my head: throw 20 million people off health insurance, punish people who burn the flag, gut education, have private companies oversee infrastructure, make women travel to other states for abortions, make guns even more cheap and plentiful (thanks NRA!), maybe institute conversion therapy for gays (thanks Mike Pence!), and give a voice to the ugly underbelly of America that now feels emboldened to publicly chastise minorities and other ethnic groups.

Internationally: insult foreign leaders, bully other countries on trade deals, tweet insults about other countries, start trade wars, add tariffs on foreign good and making products more expensive in the US, and being the best recruiter ISIS ever had. And that's just the start.

And can any grownup in Trump Tower get him off Twitter, please? Every day is a new embarrassment. They guy doesn't think before he shoots off his mouth.

This would be on a...WEDNESDAY? A work day for most people? Wow, I wish I got to stare mindlessly at water and tour wineries instead of going to work in the smack dab middle of the week... Wish I had YOUR career.

The only people I know who can do this are trust fund babies. Or comfortably retired.
