It's not the same difference. Being personally bullied in public when you are travelling or doing events is not the same as someone bad mouthing you on the internet. I can't remember news stories about Michelle being bullied in public while she was going about her business.
When did Michelle Obama ever hold up a passenger plane? The passenger who spoke up was upset because the flight was delayed to accommodate Ivanka, Jared and their children. The man became irate after all the other passengers were told they couldn't board until the Kushners were safely seated first, due to security concerns.
I personally find this entire incident a bit suspicious, since the Kuschners were flown from CA to Hawaii in a private jet. I also think it's a riot that some Trump supporters actually believe they booked Jet Blue and sat in coach because they were being frugal when Ivanka was wearing a $10,000 bracelet during a 60 Minute Interview.
Here's someone who has a similar opinion, so maybe I'm not too far off.
"How often do you suppose Ivanka Trump, whose net worth is in the billions, flies on Jet Blue? And just why was she flying in coach, when Jet Blue typically offers business class and first class options? Unless the Trump family is even more severely in debt to China and Russia than we thought, the only reason for Ivanka to fly coach on a commercial flight is if she was doing it as a stunt."
In any case, I do agree the man should have kept his mouth shut. However, he's not the first person to become unruly or disruptive on a plane.
Michelle Obama will be flying commercial starting in about a month. Surely the people defending this outrageous behavior will have no problem with Michelle and her daughters being treated similarly.
Straight from the bottom of the article, looks like this Lasner guy has no problem publicly shaming people:
Lasner posted a photo of a college student wearing an old Reagan / Bush shirt earlier this year without the young man's knowledge and then wrote: 'Seeing this walking out of @packercollegiate this morning made seriously ill. It's disgusting that teenagers might find this amusing. As far as I'm concerned it's hate speech. #idontheartthe80s'
"Hate speech" to support the Reagan/Bush administration. Totally.
Also from the article, another passenger reported one of the two men started "visibly shaking" when they saw Ivanka and called the situation a "nightmare." This story just keeps getting better.
HA...visibly skaking. I wonder if that other passenger was the same bleeding liberal they interviewed on CNN (to pimp their agenda) who was sitting in the row in front of Ivanka. In any case, no grown man should be visibly shaking when in the presence of Ivanka Trump and if they were, they need to grow the hell up.
Yeah, this is absolutely disgusting. What makes it worse is that they planned it - the now deleted tweet - and whole account - that said his husband was "chasing them down to harass them" an hour before it even happened. They planned it and they see absolutely nothing wrong with the whole situation and don't understand why the airline removed them. They think they were just "voicing their opinion." Vile. Oh also - he had his own kid in his arms. Nothing like teaching hate and that it's okay to harass a woman in public in front of her own young kids. Ironically, as a gay couple with a child, they probably experience a fair deal of hate on a daily basis and try to teach their kid tolerance. I guess tolerance only goes one way.
Exactly (on your statement on tolerance is apparently one way). I find that also with other so called "aggrieved" individuals!!
Matthew Lasner is a professor at Hunter College who said on Twitter that he and his husband harassed Ivanka Trump on a JetBlue flight.
The harassing husband is apparently just an unemployed loser:
Goldstein is a lawyer who lives in Brooklyn with Lasner and their son. The State Bar of California attorney search shows that he was admitted to the State Bar of California in December 2002 and has been inactive since January 2012.
Before moving to Brooklyn, Goldstein was based in San Francisco, where he worked for the U.S. Mint as an Employee and Labor Relations Specialist, according to the International Ombudsman Association.
And his husband bragged about it, posting a picture saying his husband was chasing down Ivanka to "harass" her. So many crazy Dems after the election. People need to get a grip.
I don't agree with what he did but I guess he saw the video of our President-elect mocking the disabled. Fine example Trump sets for all.
