Has anyone heard about the town hall meeting Mr. O had in Beaumont Tx on 2/28? I suggest you take a listen.

The problem for some of us is that Mr. O is simply too much of a leftist/socialist so we would never vote for him.

For others the problem is that he has little experience and speaks in platitudes and feel good, hypnotic, preacher-like phrases.

For me, it's both, but I was particularly surprised by what he said in Beaumont the other day. The gist of what I'm referring to is a riff he went on and on with about parental responsibility.

Boiled down it was: feed your kids, turn the tv off and actually do some basic parenting. After uttering one of these brilliant gems the crowd would gasp and cheer as if he had just shared the cure for cancer.

The reaction of his "followers" is starting to creep more and more of us out. Obamaniacs seem to be oblivious to the content of what comes out of his mouth (or nose, as when the throngs clapped and cheered when he blew it at a speach a few weeks ago). As long as it comes out of "His" mouth. This time they were in awe of his common sense child rearing points. Feed your children breakfast, have them do their homework, don't let them watch tv 8 hours per night.

He forgot to mention to not beat your kids, teach them how to properly wipe their butts and to come in from the rain when there is lightning present. Guess he's saving that for another day.

Didn't Bill Cosby get throttled by some of these same Obama-lovers for saying pretty much the same thing?

Well, if I am seeing this wrong, pls let me know.

I am waiting for the dinosaur media to start actually reporting on his short commings. Hasn't happened yet.

I don't know if you read this: Byron York on Michelle Obama on National Review Online
but it appears Michelle Obama isn't exactly in touch with what other families need.

Quote:
But not everyone has a close relative living nearby. And not everyone can afford to keep it all together, especially here in Muskingum County, where, according to the census, the median household income in 2004 was $37,192, below both the Ohio and national average. Out of that, there’s the mortgage. And child care. Health care. Education. Lessons. “I know we’re spending — I added it up for the first time — we spend between the two kids, on extracurriculars outside the classroom, we’re spending about $10,000 a year on piano and dance and sports supplements and so on and so forth,” Mrs. Obama tells the women. “And summer programs. That’s the other huge cost. Barack is saying, ‘Whyyyyyy are we spending that?’ And I’m saying, ‘Do you know what summer camp costs?’”
The whole article shows how out of touch she is with average Americans.

But he isn't, and that's what counts.

Elmonellie well imagine how many of us felt when the retarded right re elected Bush for a second term with bogey man topics like gay marriage & abortion...you know the absolute destruction of America would occur!

I will never vote for a Republican again until the GOP has a full size blown enema. Which it seems part of it is trickling out with superb canidates like McCain and Huckabee. Thank you GOP nutbags for pushing a moderate independent to the left!

I think abortion and gay marriage are two important issues that affect the future of our country. Nobody of import ever said the absolute destruction of America would occur in reference to these issues. Plenty in the conservative realm feel that there is a slow deterioration of our culture and that abortion is a symptom of the lack of respect for human life. These same people feel that gay marriage is an assault upon traditional marriage and also degrades the culture.

If you think that Mr. O is shining a bright light on something new and different when lecturing about the importance of feeding a child breakfast...well we know you will vote for him. Good for you, but you should look at the mindless adoration we are seeing from a lot of the Obama supporters if you are looking for "nutbags".

^ well then you must be a religious conservative? as opposed to a libertarian because those are private issues of individuals not ones that should be decided upon simply because YOU believe it is leading to a deterioration of a culture ( whatever in conservative warped minds that may be). The fact that you think your moral values are right reeks of pompous indignation.

Bill Cosby was a bad man for saying what he said, but yet Obama is not and if given the chance he will force exactly what Cosby said.

We havent seen the dirt yet because the lib media is aiding him by hiding the real Obama.

In time we will see the real Obama and it wont be pretty !

I am not giving the link yet but someone very good at digging the facts has what he calls a pile of dirty laundry including his ties to organized crime, fraudulent land deals, his wife giving hate speeches against all whites and much more.

He is exactly what we dont need in America, a racist bigot globalist that lies through his teeth.

Be careful the loonies will come out after dark and attack you for that comment.

MORALS are important for our President and the Obominator has little to none of these.

By the way, you are dead on my thoughts, gays and abortion as well a illegals are very important issues but yet the loonies feel as though we are not allowed to mention our OWN THOUGHTS and if you do your are wrong for doing so.

Feel free to speak your own opinion, the loonies will try to censor your thoughts but then that is what makes a liberal so looney.

This man is going to cause Civil Rights War II
