Which do you think would be more historic -- a black or female president?
In my opinion, although Hillary isn't particularly nurturing I think female is more historic because world-wide leadership is male-dominated patriarchical society and opposed to nurturing compassionate ways of leading.
You didn't offer a choice for both being equally historic...
This makes absolutely no sense considering that Obama (feature-wise atleast) looks more like a white guy than he does a black one. Under these people's assessments, Denzel Washington or some other black actor should have played Barack, who by the way he looks NOTHING like.
To be serious I think it's pretty bold to assume Denzel Washington is anywhere close to 100% African.
I don't have a right to vote as I am not a citizen yet. But, I feel people are forgetting issues, principles, policies and experience in an euphoria to create history!
Voting just because a person is of certain sex or color is just plain dumb. No wonder incompetent people get elected as leaders.
If we ever have a truly "black" (Negro) President, perhaps the issue would be more clear cut.
Of course, we COULD conceivably have a lesbian female President, which might equate to our present halfbreed...
then again, maybe not.
