The Rev. Al Sharpton is backing Barack Obama, but he's made the strategic decision to keep his support quiet.

That's the message Sharpton delivered to his flock last Saturday as he boasted of talking to Obama "two or three times a week" - and insisted the Democratic front-runner knows the rev is in his camp.

During rally, Al Sharpton says he's keeping support for Obama quiet

I thought Obama was a new type candidate? Here he goes asking the old race baiter Sharpton for help? How will you unite the country by bring in Sharpton, probably the only human being to have a more negative perception than Rev. Wright in the white community?

Heh, so much for the beating I took a few months ago when I giggled about Sharpton's plans to march on the DNC and figured he was supporting Obama. But Rev. Al being "quiet?" Hahahahahahaha, that won't last long!

I'm sure Sharpton is supporting Obama for the right reasons, i.e. his vision, views, ideals, and legitimacy as a candidate who can lead this country in the right direction. I'm equally confident that a man like Al Sharpton would never let something so trivial as race play a role in his decision on which candidate to endorse.

If you believe that, I've got a GREAT deal for you on some Bear Stearns stock. DM me for details!!!

Why are so many churches opening their pulpits to political endorsements?
