The middle and lower classes will come running into the arms of the Democrats once they figure out they'll never get affordable healthcare from the Republicans. Same goes for affordable debt-free college. And a decent living wage.
The left has been promising the middle and lower class people of this country tons of things for decades and you haven't come through with a damn thing but lies and more empty promises. These people are walking away from democrats and their failed policies.
Solar panels are cheap because of China, not the US government. Unless you consider policies that encourage buying nearly everything manufactured from China, but then you'd also have to take into consideration the true costs of doing business with China. Either way, history shows that government intrusion and meddling rarely produces desirable results "for the people".
The "Better Deal" thing was them trying to appeal to rural voters which I wish they would move on, like we're never going to win back that group which is fine, we need to focus on suburban, college educated folks, those are the ones who are voting Democrat in the special elections and in polling who have the most consternation when it comes to Trump.
