Travis Allen, who ran and lost in the California primary for governor, is the force behind this new political movement to reverse California's slide into the sewer. This should be a popular bipartisan movement since the issues affect all Californians and people are finally fed up.

Highest taxes
Skyrocketing crime
Terrible roads and traffic
Poor public schools despite massive amounts spent
$7 Billion Water Bond issued in 2014 on water storage yet nothing has been done

California has the highest top level tax rate, not the highest on average for its residents though.

If we go by the national average for Individuals, California is in the middle, not the top . His argument starts off with a false premise.
