That's the very definition of insanity that will cost the 2020 election for Democrats.
Worked well in 2018.

Yep. The Trump vote is fixed and potentially outnumbered. You love him or hate him and most hate him. What will rule the day is whether the Dems can motivate their voters to get off their duffs and go vote. It is always difficult. With Trump, it might be easier. Might.

It will depend on the nominee.

The days of people on the left-end of the spectrum rubber stamping anyone with a "D" next to their name are over.

The Republican Christofascists have just ensured that women will turn out to vote en masse for whoever has a D after their name.

We have no intention of living in the next Republic of Gilead.

HA HA! Perhaps he should throw on some goggles and lay in the tanning bed for an hour or two or just slap on ten ton of orange make-up. With a yellow/blonde wig.

As I said earlier, if Biden is nominated, the illiberal left will throw the election to seize control of the Democratic Party from the classically liberal Democrats.

The illiberals are getting real froggy and I believe 2020 will be the time that they jump.

They’re not jumping anywhere when the alternative is Donald Trump. To the D base Trump is tantamount to the Anti-Christ. They’ll stick with whomever nominated as the best change to avoid the alternative.

And to the illiberal left, Biden is Trump's twin brother.

The illiberal left is not the D base... they are a fifth column within the Democratic Party.

A split in the D Party isn’t going to come to Trump's rescue.

Beating Trump trumps every other issue, so I don’t think they’ll beat themselves this year.

It did in 2016.

If Biden is nominated, 2020 will be the year full scale civil war breaks out in the Democratic Party.
