A couple of young women from Oklahoma lived near me a few years ago. Both said they were part Native American. They had enrolled members of tribes who called them kin and had family mementos. But when it came time to prove it to college financial aide officers, they could not pull together the paperwork. Maybe it was lost, maybe they didn't try hard enough to find it. Maybe it didn't exist. Maybe it wasn't great grandpa who was Choctaw or part Choctaw. Maybe it was his cousin or cousin's cousin. This is not unusual. And not really their fault, imo.

I dunno how much benefit Warren got for saying she was part Indian. Universities say it wasn't important. The affirmative action she got was probably more based on being a woman. And the professions needed affirmative action.

Fwiw, Trump and his father falsely claimed for decades to be Swedish, including in Trump's Art of the Deal bio book in 2000. To try to throw people of the trail of grandpa Drumpf's immigration to US, attempt to return permanently to Germany after making his money off the gold rush (running hotels with prostitution accommodated on site, bars and supply stores) and getting booted out of there for prior draft dodging.

You don't have to take me anywhere.... but maybe some personal introspection is in order.

I left out... she's the most boring person in politics. Without President Trump raggin' her... she's a zero.

Oh come on. Elizabeth Warren said she was a Cherokee Indian. She lied. And she made money on that lie putting out a book where she claimed this heritage. And she consistently lied about it for 30 years. All you are doing is giving he a free pass for it by making up some nonsense about Trump which has nothing to do with it.

She never claimed she was anywhere near full blooded, your post is disingenuous. She claimed she had been told of a relative or two much further back as family folklore.

I don't make up anything, ever.

Read up Kitty:

That you would say I was making stuff up means you didn't know and didn't bother to check before the false accusation or you were trying to take the easy way and brush it a way with a false claim that it was nonsense when it is documented. Either way you lose.

It's so funny the way people like to toss around the term "loser" at anyone they dislike.

She comes from a lower middle class background and aspired only to be a teacher. Her expertise became so notable that she was tapped by the federal government, and then propelled into the Senate.

If you consider that means she's a loser, then tell us about your own glorious career. If you think the only admirable people are those who are mostly in the accounting office (that's who mostly signs the front of checks) or small business owners, then I feel sorry for you and your sad standards. You apparently have no respect for education, hard work, expertise, or public service.

People observe and based their conclusions on last available information... therefore she's at best misinformed and at it's worse... a liar, a fraud, a fake.

She has a compelling bio... but she's went full politician, and she "adopted" or ape others perspective. She is a follower and has zero capacity to lead. She has been described as "Bernie without baggage".

She comes off as a angry grandmother. she should go knit something. I would not drink beer with her, like her husband.

Warren's rhetoric is insulting to anyone who knows her background. she is a millionaire professor who used a (fake) minority status to rise within academia. The far left loves her. the rest of us see her as a constantly shrieking, opportunistic liar.

Why are you guys arguing so bitterly?

The democrats are already essentially kicking her to the curb and she most certainly will not be the nominee.
