It seems like Hillary and her buddies in the media are actually suffering because of their attempt to twist Obama's words around. The words that she publicized have seemed to resonate amongst those who matter during this period of time: Small town Pennsylvanians.
Hillary was even heckled by the crowd at the American Manufacturing Forum in Pittsburgh:
"Her remarks were received poorly by the audience and instead of eliciting applause, Clinton was jeered when she brought up the subject.
'I understand my opponent came this morning and spent a lot of his time attacking me,' Clinton said to jeers from the crowd. "I know that many of you, like me, were disappointed, by recent remarks he made."
"No, no!" shouted some in the crowd, mildly heckling Clinton."
I still don't get the hubbub about this quote. Most people weren't bothered by it, in fact from what I understand alot of Pennsylvanians agree with the sentiment and feel its pretty accurate. The press is just reaching for stories at this point. I can't wait for this primary to be decided already. It can't come soon enough.
Just heard a newscast on the radio, Hillary is up by 20 points on Obama -- a week ago they were virtually tied. Obama is sinking like a lead weight.
ARG has not exactly been the most dependable poll. Meanwhile, Gallup shows that, nationally, Obama actually gained a point over the weekend, now leading Clinton by 10%, 50%-40%.
You have someone honest and tries to tell the truth then you have Hillary who will lie,
inflate her experiences, pretends to know how these factory worker and regular people feel, take advantage of people who really need someone to actually change their way of life and at the end of the day she will go home and count her millions. She stated she won Texas but take away those Republicans that voted for her because they want her to win so that McCain can win. Many were interviewed and they stated just that. They plan to vote Republican in the General So I ask did she really win? Nope. Over 114,000 Republicans ran to the polls in Texas and another 100,000 in Ohio. Does she really think she stands a chance here.
If this contest doesnt end soon, no democrat will win in November whether its Obama or Hillary. Both are taking serious beatings while John McCain is sitting pretty looking presidential. Looks like the republican strategy is working. The republicans are voting for Hillary just to keep the race going. They also want Hillary as the nominee because they know she'll lose against McCain.
