We do have global climate change. It was 86 degrees the other day in Anchorage, Alaska. More than 20 degrees above normal. Anyone who doesn’t understand what is happening to our planet has swallowed an “I don’t care about the future” pill.

No, he was definitely going to be gone by the end of 2018.

Many others may not share that perspective. Wasn't the most qualified candidate to ever run, a chance for 4 more years of BO voted down?

Actually Democratic centrism won as Hillary won the popular vote.

Hillary is, was, and will continue to be a loser. Losers will continue to lose and Trump will win.

The only thing I admire about Trump is his ability to con so many people into voting for him, thinking it will be to their benefit instead of his. Given that, I don't have a lot of confidence in polls who are writing off his chances of winning re-election right now. Unemployment and inflation are both low, the economy is still humming along. There are storm clouds ahead for the economy, reflected in the sharp drop in interest rates that often spells a future recession. But it hasn't happened yet, so that says that it is not easy for any opponent to defeat an incumbent pres when the economy is doing pretty good.

Now, if something happens on the global front where the Pres gets us into an actual war over some stupid decision, all bets are off.

But democrats are shooting themselves in the food with promises of health care to illegals and non criminalization of illegal border crossing. The people who wait for years and come here legally won't like it as will those born here. I really hope a centrist will be nominated.
I think you have too high an opinion of your fellow Americans.

I'm not a Republican, I dislike Trump and I would never vote for him, but I don't hate him.

I think there are an awful lot of sheep in this country (of the human variety ). I think the pounding demonization of Trump by the media will continue, and that that will pull enough sheep to oppose him no matter who Democrats nominate.

Klobuchar.
If she got the nomination....I might vote for her.

But I don't think she has much of a chance.
