That rally is coming back to haunt him big time.....
I'm not sure what planet you are talking about because it certainly isn't Earth. No Politician would be haunted by this kind of support. It's massive. No Democrat HAS this kid of support. The only ones pissed off and mad are the ones who are always pissed off and mad.

LMAO then why is he trying to run away from the chants he started? Of course you won’t ever admit he screwed up but he knows full well that he did and is now in full lying mode trying to change what happened. Unfortunately for him there is plenty of footage of that rally that will constantly remind those outside his bubble the truth and what a Hate rally looks like.
Trump isn't running from anything. But I get it that you might gain some comfort by saying it.
Oh you poor soul. Obviously if I’m answering you on here we are on the same planet. But sure keep telling yourself that he isn’t backing down Look at all the tapes today. “ No they chanted that I didn’t say that”, “ I tried to get them to stop by starting to talk” LOL he knows that that look is hurting him with the Independents he needs.

The fact that you don’t “friend” anyone that you call a hater, just shows the bubble you are in. The facts are that Trump lost every major city in 2016 and will do again in 2020
And those against Trump are ALSO America and we are a lot larger than those in the bubble think.
Birmingham Alabama Metro was the largest won by Trump
LOL!!! Well, it's a pretty BIG, or shall i say, it's a YUGE buble! I think cities tend to attract the Left. It's not a good measuring stick.
Not only that, things have changed a lot since 2016. He has a long list of accomplishments, and the economy is booming. Even Leftists are making lots of money and living well. Compare the economy today, with the sluggish 'barely there' Obama economy — never achieved 3% GDP. Obama said, "1% is the 'new normal'" We recently just broke 4%. Stock Market is still breaking records. Manufacturing jobs are back (guess Trump has that "magic wand"), unemployment is the lowest in 50 years, and 'black' unemployment is the lowest in history.
Meanwhile, all the Democrat candidates are talking about is impeachment and socialism. Everything will be "free." Right. Those things are not selling well with the majority of Americans.
'The Squad' has become the Face of the Democrat Party. They are socialists, and every Democrat candidate has hitched their wagon to these four lunatics who hate America and everything it stands for. Omar has said it was "founded on racism."
Democrats are totally out of touch with mainstream America. Pushing the "Green New Deal" is a loser. You cannot generate enough electricity to power the country on wind and solar, which is more expensive anyway, and we will never not need oil, gas and coal. Air travel cannot be eliminated, and "high speed rail" is a waste of money (look at where the California experiment is for the answer - it's way over budget, and it's basically stalled).
Do people think Trump recent tweets and subsequent comments about the so called squad help or hurt him?
The case that they hurt him is:
1) it distracts from talking about the economy and an optimistic "morning in America" type message that may help him win over moderate and broaden his base.
2) His approval ratings have been consistently low despite the economy and his reputation for racial division seems to be among the chief culprits.
The case it helps him:
1) negative campaigns work. It drives up his negatives, but it hurts the Democrats by elevating the Squad as the face of the party. The squad is unpopular for a variety of reasons ranging from simple racism to disagreements over their bombastic rhetoric and left wing policy. But a higher profile for them is likely bad for Dems in purple areas.
2) If shifts the campaign from pocketbook issues to battles over race and identity. Democrats would rather present themselves as champions of the working and middle class against big business (80 percent vs the 1 percent). While Republican probably do better if politics is framed as whites(70 percent of the electorate) vs minorities.
I want to believe the 1st one, but I'm not so sure. Clearly there won't be mass defections of Trump supporters morally outraged by his rhetoric. A lot depends on how the Democratic presidential candidates respond. Do they criticize Trump's rhetoric while primarily focusing on the economy/class or do they punch back and talk about the US being a white supremacists country that is running concentration camps and double down on the woke rhetoric?
"His approval ratings have been consistently low"
His approval ratings have been on par with other presidents at the same time in their terms
I believe he has now PASSED obams at this same time in their terms.
