I find it amusing that dems who are supporting a socialist don't seem to realize that dems are totalitarians first and will decide who THEY want the nominee to be, not the voters.
The part about being "stupid" for being a socialist is 100% true. The author, who states he lived in a socialist/communist country, knows first hand the evils and disasters of socialism. However, those informed by a "TA with a man bun" don't seem to read history or understand economics and are thus duped by the allure of socialism.

The Dems can't win. If Bernie gets the nomination, the independents and moderates won't vote for him. (Socialist.) If the nomination is taken from him and given to Bloomberg, the Bernie supporters won't vote for Bloomberg. Meaning: TRUMP WINS.
How anyone can believe that higher Social Security benefits is dangerous socialism that will inevitably lead to 100 million corpses is just mind boggling.
That guy almost certainly didnt live in a country where workers owned the means of production, which is what real socialism is. He almost surely lived in a brutal dictatorship where one man controlled everything, just like the medieval kings of the past. Just because those kings call themselves socialist or democratic for propaganda purposes to appeal to the masses doesnt actually make it true. It just shows that even this guy actually still believes in the propaganda of the country he fled.

Bloomberg will draw in some independents and some disaffected republicans. He is kind of Trump light. Maybe he is abusive towards women, but not as abusive. Maybe he is condescending and rude, but not as condescending and rude. Bernie would trash the economy and giggle with joy as he did it. Bloomberg will nto trash the economy - at least not on purpose. Bloomberg might have a chance. Biden might as well.
The idea that the supporters of someone who can't even be bothered to associate with the Democratic party until he needs support and money to run for President can be justifiably outraged if the DNC follow their pre-existing rules and select someone other than Bernie at a brokered convention is beyond absurd.
