Maybe it wasn't a political ploy. Maybe even worse they didn't know any better? Maybe they didn't think before acting now that would be scary. Remember McCain has said he is no student of economics and I don't hear anyone shouting out that Hilllary has any academic credentials. Is there any question that Obama is the intellectual of the group. The Billary crowd has even accused him of being an intellectual out of touch with Bubba.

They could fund this "tax vacation" by not earmarking funds for any bridges to nowhere this summer. That will not happen so it will likely lead us to borrow more from China.

An economist noted there are not enough bridges [that could be canceled] multiplied by ten in the earmark budget that would come close to covering 9 Billion dollars.
I checked your link, I didnt see anything about the gas tax on it.. Had something to do with the war again..
How much is the war costing us that we would not be spending on the war if we weren't at war?
