I read somewhere that the GOP had people on the ground in Chicago and they had compiled a 1000 page dossier on Obama. I'm sure we'll be hearing a lot more about Obama's contacts in the future. If there was nothing there, there wouldn't be material to fill 1000 pages.

I've noticed that though neocons even bring up Chappaquidick...if you bring up any news older than a day about their ""100 Year War, he's bad but at least he's not a liberal"" candidate...they say it's "old news"....
Why stop at 1000? Were they being paid by the page? Hmmm, I don't really know anything bad about a person, but I am going to insinuate bad things by spreading rumors based on absolutely nothing. In my church, gossip is considered tantamount to theft and murder, theft of goodwill and the killing of a character is considered a nonchristian act. So I am hoping that for all the candidates, common sense prevails. Both men have run for public office and have had their past vetted, so the chances of the "nuclear" story are pretty slim, and after the eight years of proven incompetence, we need to take a chance on someone.
We all know that Obama is related to many bad persons and when you hang out with losers you become a loser and in this case he is showing he endorse people who hate Americans and white people.
The ironic thing is that most Obama fans and the far left are looking at Obama as a rock star and they don't care what is said about Obama and what the facts are. It's like talking to a deaf person the difference is a deaf person wants to try to understand what is said but these fans just don't want to hear it until the damage is done.
I agree with Ann Colter that if Obama succeed and will become the next president....(I hope not), after 4 years people have had it so much they will not vote for a dem. in the next 20 years!!!!

The problem is that the "facts" are usually not actually "facts." I am not a fanatic, I am a pragmatist. Given the options I have, I am choosing that which most aligns with my values and on more issues than not, Obama fits those values, then Clinton, then McCain. I do not see evil around every corner, I see three commtted Americans who are genuinely convinced they can do a good job in this role.
William Ayers never served a day in prison for his crimes because Federal prosecutors botched the case. There was plenty of evidence as well as testimony that Ayers planned, facilitated and executed bombings of federal buildings in which people were working. Fortunately no innocents were killed by their bombs but damage was done. Ayers was a wild leftist-Communist radical in his youth who set out to overthrow the US government by violence. He told his followers to "go home and kill your parents and end their capitalstic lives". Some of his followers used the terms "cruel", "evil" and "sinister" in describing William Ayers. Ayer's female accomplice, Bernadette Dohrn, went into hiding and eluded capture for over 25 years, finally turning herself in. Her conviction was shortened by a Bill Clinton pardon. Today Dohrn and Ayers live in Southside Chicago where he teaches education at the University of Chicago. Asked if he regretted his violent and criminal past, Ayers scowled and retorted "I wish I had done more!".
Barack and Ayers served together on the board of the Woods Foundation a non profit philanthropic. They became friends and were frequently seen together both on the board and casually. While on the board Obama and Ayers voted to send a large amount of money to the American-Arab league. The A-A League was known to be actively involved in channeling money and supplies to Palestine terrorists.
Barack and Michelle Obama socialized with William Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn. It was in their home that fellow Southside Chicago resident Tony Rezko introduced Barack and Michelle to Iraqui born British Billionaire Nadhmi Auchi.
Auchi later lent Obama "several" million dollars according to testimony in Tony Rezko's trial. Using part of that money Obama was able to buy his Southside mansion at a greatly reduced price arranged by Tony Rezko. Rezko is known for buying politicians or having them "in his pocket" as he likes to say. Auchi has been twice convicted of bribery in his home country.
William Ayers has contributed to every campaign Obama has run in. Up until his conviction Tony Rezko contributed to Obama's campaign. Auchi made a "very large" contribution to Obama's presidential committee. When it was discovered by Federal elections officials that a foreign felon had contributed Obama's committee reluctantly returned the funds to Auchi.

William Ayers plays the part of an innoculous college professor but he is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Ayers may seem docile and innocent. He may appear to be promoting education but what are his real motives? He once swore to destroy the US democracy and install a Socialist form of government in it's place.
Remember this is the madman who tried to kill government employees. To end their lives simply because they worked for a government he didn't like. He had nothing personal against the file clerk he was trying to kill. She just happened to work for a government he wanted to overthrow by violence. She was in the way. He had to kill her and thousands more to install Socialism in the United States.

Perhaps there would be another way. If a committed socialist, raised on the idealogy of Karl Marxx, was elected president perhaps he could turn the goverment slowly, with the help of supportative persons in the goverment and the media, into a socialist state. The people would be taken in and before they could object their freedoms circumvented.
