I am sorry you dont feel that helping children in foreign countries in pain or keeping them from being blown up is worthy of the statement of having no heart for the pain of others because she does demonstrate that it is not only lip service for her!
It doesn't matter how long ago it was! How long ago was it that Michelle Obama wrote her college thesis? How long ago since Obama was in elementary school? But he had to be investigated because the conservatives tried to lie and say the school was a "madrassa". And with the Republicans in charge, doctors are scared to prescribe the medication patients need to relief pain so patients sometimes have to doctor shop which is a felony. That is what she did and she got away with it while many Americans are in prison or have to kill themselves to get relief because of her husband's policies. And yes it is going to an issue. Count on that!
And I have no problem with helping children in other countries but what about children HERE? The Republicans and McCain oppose any help for children here!

Obama was a true drug addict, Cindy McCain had medical issues, BIG DIFFERENCE!!

We really do not want a druggie like Obama in our White House now do we?

Oh, but you've had one for 7 1/2 years!!!!

Short term memory loss???

I hold Bill Clinton in the same contempt over this as I do the Republicans. He is really no better than they are and a liar too. At least in the case of Obama he admitted he used illegal drugs, did not LIE and say he did not inhale and he does not advocate putting people in prison for the better part of their lives for drugs unlike McCain and Clinton.

Cindy is the perfect role model for young, elite children everywhere. How can you find fault with her? How is she different? Doesn't she support children's issues?

We certainly arent running tv ads about her being a drug addict and a homewrecker. It appears some people have amnesia.

I think she stacks up far above Michelle Obama.
Michelle Obama is in a different league, not even a comparison as to which is the most accomplished. Sorry.

So than non-elite children cannot learn from the examples of someone who helps with land mines, children with health issues and what we can do as a society to help them? I am quite confused as I thought we ALL can learn from these kind of giving people in the world no matter what there status is in life.
Also, is it mostly the wealthy people that bring awareness to these causes?

I've been polling kids...none of them have a clue who Cindy McCain is. For some odd reason they all know who Michelle Obama is. Strange.

What can I tell them - she's the lady who runs the company where your dad gets his beer and she helps kids in other countries by picking up land mines. (gotta keep it simple) She's worth a hundred million dollars. She's a good example because she was once an addict and now she helps people.

Oh. Wow, a hundred million dollars? She is making a lot of money off my daddy's beer. My cousin went to jail cuz he got pulled over and they said he had a joint.

Yep, why yes she is. Drugs are bad.

Hey you are a learned person. Can you explain this land mine deal to me? Is it like ducking sniper fire in Bosnia?
Hotline On Call: Cindy McCain And Cambodia's Land Mines

Did she actually dig one up herself or was she there while they were being dug up?

Actually, unless their Dad or Mom are in Arizona, they would not get their beer from Mrs. McCain. It is a regional distribution company.

She was addicted - and sought help. I applaud her for that - as I hope you would also.

And, Cindy McCain is not running for office.
