Relevance? There is no excuse for both the character flaws and weak will Cindy McCain has exhibited, pure and simple. I would like to think the wife of the potential POTUS is made of sterner stuff.

Betty Ford wasn't financing Gerald's political career behind the scenes. Stating the facts doesn't mean I harbor any sort of hatred for Cindy McCain. However, her shameful past is well documented, it's not going away.
GD, these people have no clue, they do not know that 60% of all Americans are addicted to something, heck they are addicted to a chain smoking former druggie call Obama but that is ok.
I gave up on trying to teach them the difference in prescribed meds and non prescribed meds and they seem to not be smart enough understand.
The other thing is they are digging for any dirt they can get, they feel that someone having a natural addiction to something is worse then someone having hated their country and all whites who live in it.
They have no sense of reality. Look at them, they are little Obamakins running around trying to dig everything they can when their own leader is a former drug addict, is too unhealthy to be our President and has rumors of having gay relationships when he was younger. But that is ok?
Besides being jealous of Cindy McCain, they cannot stand the fact that everything she touches turns to gold. Ohh I know they want her to give away her money to the Obamakin welfare followers.
You people need to get a job or something, you have to much time on your hands to fail at your quest to attack every single time.
Go ahead compare the two potential first ladies, there is no competition. Michelle Obama has accomplished nothing in her life other then making 10 year old girls cry and getting an instant 200k raise in her job the day after her hubby becomes a Senator. Who is fooling who here.

Admirable life except for the fact that after being born into wealth she still became a drug addict....isn't that what neocons think only losers, poor losers do?
AND, she hasn't done much more than a lot of "born to the manor" people.....so easy to be charitable when it's all a drop in the bucket to your finances.

Only two of the candidates has that qualification. I am wondering about the people who voted for the other one. What were they thinking???????????

Remember Obama not only admitted to pot but also cocaine. And they say it is not the gateway drug.
Several people in my family are and were addicted to drugs- mainly cigarettes and alcohol. Both parents were addicted to both, grandparents were addicted to both. 2 of 3 siblings addicted to both. It runs on my mother's side of the family as it does in many Osage families. My dad started drinking after he came back from Korea with 2 Purple Hearts. I was addicted to cigarettes for 24 years myself. So if you want to talk about addictions, we can discuss them because, believe me, illegal drugs like marijuana and coccaine do not cause the hell alcohol causes.
The whole point is this- if you are going to demand minmum sentences for drugs then apply the damn thing to EVERYBODY including Rush Limball, Cindy McCain and Noel Bush. They all should be in a maximum security prison like me or you would be if we did the exact same thing!

Neither is Michelle Obama. It was NOT the Democrats who attacked Cindy McCain. It was the evil Republicans that put TV ads on attacking Michelle Obama. And I think it is only FAIR that, if the GOP wants to make the wife of our candidate a target, we have the same right to look at Cindy McCain. And Betty Ford's husband never ever advocated 25 year prison terms for drunks.
