Ron Johnson looks to be headed in the same direction as Scott Walker in 2018. Anti-Abortion, Anti-Marijuana, and Pro-Trump is just too out of touch for a nice middle American state like Wisconsin.

I think this race will be a huge test for how far the abortion issue will carry democrat candidates.

IMO, Johnson made his reelection more difficult by enthusiastically embracing "MAGA". He would have better acting like someone like Chuck Grassley in Iowa. I'm not a big fan of Grassley, but he struggles to avoid the more offensive behavior that many Trumpers routinely engage in.

All that being said, WI generally goes for democrats in presidential election years and republicans in off year elections. It may be the truest swing state in this country.

Mandela Barnes reminds me of a young Obama I know it makes the right cringe but he might run for president someday.

But Grassley was part of illegal electors scheme
Was dying to stop the election certification if they had been able to steal Pence away from his SS detail that day

Johnson is an idiot but Grassley is too

Ron Johnson is up by 4 points, outside the margin of error, in the latest Emerson poll.

Wisconsin will not elect a radical like Jesse Barnes, unless the Democrats manage to successful rig the votes like they did in 2020.
