Isn't that the truth. She didn't have the advantage that Obama had of "give me for free" welfare generation living in moms basement brainwashed by BET and MTV.

Is this the topic about the 37 million who watched the Palin speech or the Official Latent Racism Topic?

That could prove to be true, actually. After Palin's electrifying speech, McCain's speech will probably be perfectly good but a bit anti-climactic. I don't have cable or satellite, so I'll wait for his speech to become available on YouTube.

What does that say about McCain? Is she overshadowing him?

Great! Good news! Now 37 million people were able to hear this very divisive speech which was filled with a bunch of "nothing" and no substance
How many conventions have you watched? Is this year your first? I invite you to go back over Obama and Biden's speeches and see how divisive and how much they attacked McCain. Let me know when you're done.

So, we can probably assume fairly that if Palin had all 10 networks that obama had, she would have drawn more viewers.
That is pretty impressive considering I know a lot of liberals did not even watch her speech because (I guess out of fear) they knew they would be eating their own words.

So what does that say? Obama can draw physical crowds, but McCain can draw audiences that watch from afar?

Democrats may look like they outnumber Repubs. when you compare conventions, but there are A LOT of republicans out there and they arent as vocal as democrats are.

She focused on some pretty big issues.

This is how your quote should read:

Now that seems right, doesn't it? I think so. Maybe Obama should focus on some issues. Its hard for Palin to attack someone on positions when they are such a flip flopper who really has no idea what they are doing.

Sarahs best quote last night: when she talked about those stupid foam columns and taking them back to Hollywood. That comment was priceless.
