Excellent post and so true. I think he is a likable person and I understand his appeal. However, he is more concerned with pleasing his far left following than putting his country first.
I am not too worried if he is elected because I think he will never be reelected for a second term when people wakeup and realize what a puppet he is.
A dangerous fool can do much to destroy us in a mere four years. Especially if he has the Congress behind him.
In reality liberals are the LEAST TOLERANT people in our society today. They rely on emotion and will not tolerate conservate viewpoints. If you state an opposing view they shout racist or worst to stop the rational argument. They don't want to debate they want to oppress.
That is SO true. They talk all about free speech - but they want to shut up evangelical Christians. Of if someone is speaking against gay marriage or something that THEY (liberals) are for, they try to shut them up. So it's only free spech if you agree with them. They talk about women's equality - but if it's a Republican woman she should be home taking care of her kids.
P.S. - and I am a pretty moderate conservative, in that I figure if you want to have an abortion or you are gay, that is your choice even if I wouldn't make the same choice. But I think it is silly how liberals claim to be so tolerant and they are the most intolerant people I know!
I don't trust that Barack Hussein Obama isn't a terrorist in disguise hijacking this country from within. An evil aura surrounds this man. I fear for this country's survival if he gets elected.
Yes, and it is also coming out that he has had close connections with a member of the Saudi Royal family for about two decades, who was influential during his Harvard days. Very scary stuff.

They eviscerated the Constitution, attacked the wrong country, funneled trillions of tax payer $$$ into the pockets of well connected military contractors while our infrastructure is decaying and gave us the biggest debt in American history that our children will be paying for the rest of their lives.

I am answering all of your fears in blue original poster... from my point of view and from someone who was once a Hillary Supporter!
1.) Lack of experience
All of this experience has not been working for the past 8 years. What Senator Obama offers is vision and refreshing new ideas
2.) He truly does not know what he's saying without a teleprompter (ex: inhaler durrrr, breathalizer, durrrr breathing machine speech)
He does, but he is one of those types that thinks while he is speaking, as to not say anything that will be misconstrued or taken out of context. He is just very careful to make sure his facts are straight. Nothing wrong with that. I would rather a person think about what they are saying rather than fly off at the mouth not saying much of anything, or with predictable knee jerk responses.
3.) His friends..Rezko, Ayers, and Hamas endorsed..Code pink..
He has never asked for their endorsement. Lots of people are endorsing him out of their own pleasure and will because he is different and new and are just fed up with the last 8 years.
4.) Liberal as you can get, socialist ideas
What is wrong with being liberal? Liberals are open minded. Why is Obama accused of being socialist because he cares about the well being of his fellow citizens. We as human beings should care for one another and help each other achieve the American dream. Achieving the dream isn't as easy for some people, some people need help getting a head start. I would expect Republican Christians to understand that above all else.
5.) Change that will NEVER work. UHC will never happen, and is a bad idea. He states he wants to lower taxes. I'd like to know where he'll get the money to do so.
If everyone thought as negatively about possibilities as you do, then we'd never had made it to the moon, or outer space even. Pessimists never get anywhere further. Obama is an optimist and he can see the future, has a vision for it and that is what this country desperately needs.... vision! Obama recognized that the country needs change from very very early on, and now the Republicans are finally catching on as did Clinton and add it to their own campaign Obama is the one that we all need now. Also, if you listened he said that he would cut federal programs that aren't being used or are not needed. Also, the billions that we are spending in Iraq will help out a great deal when we withdraw our troops and give the Iraqis their own responsibility over there!
Obama offers no change.
WITHOUT CONGRESS SUPPORT MOST OF WHAT HE WANTS TO DO WILL NEVER COME TO LIFE.
He's so liberal he'll have trouble getting congress to support any of it.
