I think while McCain said he thinks the economy is just fine, Obama is proposing ways to help them. You see, when you spend time in community service and not moving between your seven homes you get an idea of what people are going through.
When leading Republicans say Americans are 'whiners' it does not help their cause.

This looks very good for Obama, because even after the RNC bounce, he's looking good.
I notice Republicans are now changing their platform to look more like Obama's.

Sometimes they are so clueless.
They are lucky they have Rove, because he seems to be the only one who is helping them, even though he is a two faced spin artist, he is excellent in what he does. They can only be helped now by lying and massaging the truth and changing their spin, etc. What a bunch of self serving phonies.

keep in mind these polls from these sources are pretty accurate judging by history in 2004. As long as this pattern continues in the next 60 days, which is not long. Obama has this election. I've been telling people all along that the electoral math is what matters, not national polls. They mean nothing.

Nope. They are saying that the polls next week will be a better measure, because the polls from today only include 1 day after Palin's speech and do not include McCain's. So by mid week next week we will have a better idea.

Not that I really put any stock in polls anyway.

What makes you think that Obama raising taxes is going to help the economy? It's going to STIFLE the economy. Gotta go with McCain.

Your words to God's ears, gsoboi.
I think the time has come.
This nation's destiny cannot be a neocon police state.

Trust me Palin is not going to make that much of a difference to change these states around. If you look at the electoral map in september of 2004, it pretty much matched the election outcome in 2004.

All Palin did was energize the republican base so Obama wont win by a huge embarrasing landslide. But he is still going to win.

I think this election will NOT be close in the end. Obama will win by a considerable margin. The RNC's nightmare will become reality on the evening of Nov 4th.

You are falling for Rove-spin.
Obama will lower taxes for most Americans, well unless you make more than $200,000 or $250,000.
He will give tax breaks to companies that create jobs for Americans.
He will also give breaks to startup businesses and small businesses, because small business is where the majority of people work and where innovation usually comes from.

The tax problems will be for corporations who outsource jobs to other countries. Other nations do that. It is about time that they pay a penalty for leaving workers high and dry without jobs.

He also wants kids to have a free education if they pledge to work in some sort of government service afterward: teaching in poor neighborhoods, peace corps, military, etc.

an economy performs best when there is a healthy substancial middle class.. Obama is not raising taxes on the middle class.. JUST THE WEALTHY.. and is actually cutting taxes for middle class families.. which WILL help the economy....
to just say obama is raising taxes is a bit misrepresenting.. unless you happen to be one of the lucky few that makes over 200K per year.. that is 1 percent of the population...
perhaps fact check and homework is in order before you just salute yourself to mcCain...
